Hossein was very helpful and we were able to make a deal through email and everything was set. Negotiation was all done online. Picked up a check from my bank and we picked up the car that same day. We got our Honda odessey 2010. We had one problem 1 week later because I was busy and had to work. I finally had time to try out the bells and whistles on the car. Three thing that was on the description that attracted me to the car was the color, blue tooth, and DVD player. I got my handy book and and started to try and figure out the blue tooth system and realized that there were no Bluetooth in the car. My husband notified Hossein and he responded right away. We started to negotiate this matter because there ad said blue tooth. At first they wanted to give us 100.00 and call it that, but I really wanted my Bluetooth so I started to do my homework. To make the story short I did not received my Honda hands free kit and installation by Honda instead we received enough money to pay and have my after market Bluetooth installed by an outside company. We did agree to this to compromise with kolbe dealer although they did agree to install a 250.00 system to the car, which we were not sure if it was just a cheap Bluetooth or what so we opt for cash and pay an outside company for the top of the line system for our car which we will have for years.. I am happy with the service and the car, but make sure that you check for what they said the car has first before you drive off. I still gave them 4.5 total because I was ok with the end result. At the end they only took off a total of 700.00 from there asking price. More

I was shopping for a new Civic and I was getting the usual responses after putting out some requests on the internet. Most dealers wanted me to come in so they could haggle. Others wanted to know what I had already been quoted before giving me a price. I received a straightforward email from Kolbe with an extremely competitive price. I called to see if they had a car on the lot (dealers will often tell you they have the car even if they don't and then try to sell you something else). I drove over and left with the car in record time. No funny business, exactly the car I had requested at exactly the price quoted. More
They are way overpriced. I have taken my car there a few times and was way overcharged. this last time, i called Miller Honda and got a quote on the B1 svc for my car, they quoted me $78 dollars, then i cal times and was way overcharged. this last time, i called Miller Honda and got a quote on the B1 svc for my car, they quoted me $78 dollars, then i called Kolbe and got a quote of $199. unbelievable. All i can say is, the customer service is very nice and polite, as they screw you in the deal. Never again will i go to Kolbe. More

This dealership is by far the most honest one I have ever been too. I shopped many different dealership to get the best price. Some of them would not let me leave and they kept pushing me to buy the car and been too. I shopped many different dealership to get the best price. They gave me a price lower than everyone else and they did not try to stick me with any other extras. They are great people and the management is great. I highly recommend this dealership. Although I live in Santa Barbara I was referred by a friend to at least get a price from Kolbe Honda before I purchased an Accord V-6 at my local dealer. I emailed Kolbe and eventually got an email back with an amazing price - I am glad I wasn't in a hurry because the internet salespeople must be so busy they don't have time to respond promptly. Since the price was so much lower than I had been quoted locally, I decided to email the other Honda dealers near Kolbe. Kolbe had them all beat - plus they "promised" to beat any offer I had in writing. Since I worry about things that seem to good to be true... I was worried about how my experience would be once I set foot at the dealership. No worries ... no "upsells" ... no pressure ... just the car at the price that was quoted. Really don't know why the price was so much lower than locally, maybe competition, but well worth the 90 minute drive. An update: Just moved to Woodland Hills ... so now I can try Kolbe's service department. More
I walked in to Kolbe Honda just to look around, had not really made up my mind yet whether to get the CRV, Element or Fit. Ernesto met us and was very kind in showing us all the different models and their features. Even after I told him that I was just looking around, he still spent a great valuable time with us. Very patient in explaining everything and took us for a test drive. I did not purchase the car then but came back a week later. Ernesto was out of the office and Edward helped us then. I told him that Ernesto had helped us earlier, but he was as kind and courteous to us anyway. He helped us decide on which payment plan would best suite us and gave us a lot of options to think about. And this was even after I had mentioned to him that I am not ready to purchase yet. I have been going back and forth between other dealerships. But after the wonderful experience I had from 2 different sales reps. I purchased my new CRV with Kolbe. They definitely earned my business. This is truly an honest, professional organization. I had a wonderful experience and would definitely come back for my next car purchase. More
Shopping for a CR V was a nightmare. I did the typical homework on the internet. kbb.com, edmunds.com, etc. Then started going to dealers to actually see the CR V and what kind of a price we could get. Everyone of them (I won't mention the dealership names) gave us a run around. Told us the CR V was very popular and that it was selling for over sticker. Their attitudes were very cavalier and disrespectful and a real turn off. At best it sure didn't enhance our desire to purchase a car from them ! By chance, I saw in the AAA magazine that they offered a car buying program as a membership benefit. I called to get information on how it works. they told me what to do to get the AC discount and recommended the nearest Honda dealer that worked with them. That turned out to be Kolbe Honda. We utilized the Auto Clubs discount program and received a fair and good price on the CR V. It's a pre-negotiated amount, and in this was was well below the MSRP. The money we saved on the car purchase will easily pay my membership dues for many years. Kolbe's people were truly friendly, courteous and knew their product line well. Klause was our sales representative and he was honestly excited about 'showing' us the car. He was very familiar with ALL the functions and accessories. You could tell that he really liked the vehicle. We bought the car mid-week, but didn't take possession until the weekend. Klause was not working that weekend, but he arranged for another sales rep (Howard) to work with us, even though it wasn't his sale. Howard was equally as great. He spent all the time we needed showing us the specifics of the CR V. Mike was the sales manager and was a real gentleman. Kolbe is not a high pressure dealership. They didn't jerk us around and I found my experience with them a pleasure. I would absolutely go back to them for my next car purchase. They earned it. More
