We purchased a new 2012 Honda CR-V last month from Jack Roby. We had an excellent experience at Wilde Honda. Jack was wonderful to work with!! Jay Alexander gave us a very fair trade-in on our car! Joe Roby. We had an excellent experience at Wilde Honda. Jack was wonderful to work with!! Jay Alexander gave us a very fair trade-in on our car! Joe Doyle made the paperwork easy! Michael Malmsbury showed us the new car features! After shopping for months for our new CR-V, we traveled from Hillsborough county to this dealership. We found them on their web site. We would highly recommend doing your new car business with WILDE HONDA!!!!!! Oh, and we LOVE our 2012 HONDA CR-V, this is the first Honda we have ever owned! More
My experience here was an absolute pleasure. I usually don't like going in to look at cars because of the pushy aspect of it but here I was very comfortable the entire time. I worked with Eduardo Gonzalez and he was a wonderful salesman. I bought a Honda Accord and am very happy with both the car and the experience deciding! Thanks Wilde Honda! More
Too bad your scale only goes up to 5. Larry Briden is a 10 in my book. This is the 3rd Honda Accord that he and I have dealt with. He didn't sell me the first, but took over when the salesman who did, left 10 in my book. This is the 3rd Honda Accord that he and I have dealt with. He didn't sell me the first, but took over when the salesman who did, left. In 2009, my lease was expiring, and I spoke with Larry. I told him what I wanted and how much I wanted to pay. He worked diligently until the day he called me and told me he had a car for me. I asked him if he had black, and he said he didn't. I said that was okay, and that I'd take what he had. Ten minutes later, he called me back to tell me he had found a black one for me. So, after the deal was already done, he continued to make it better by getting me the color I wanted. Completely above and beyond the call of duty. From that monment on, I knew Larry Briden was the only car salesman I would deal with. Today, he came through again, and I now have a 2012 Accord. One thing should not be overlooked; besides being an excellent salesman, Larry is a gentleman. He has always treated me with the utmost in respect. I even sent my sister-in-law to him, and she leased a Honda. More

The experience with Mr.Gonzalez at Wilde Honda of Sarasota FL was as smooth as things could get when buying a car over the internet without physically being able to see and drive it. I am a 71 year old retired international airline captain, and have had an intense dislike of car dealers for many years. Certainly I would be the first to complain here, if I had anything to complain about. and have had an intense dislike of car dealers for many years. Certainly I would be the first to complain here, if I had anything to complain about. I am a cash buyer, and do not consider that I am easy to bargain with. I have been looking for a 2010 TOYOTA Corolla for more than a month. I want a small car to use at my Nova Scotia summer home, where regular gas is reportedly already over $5.60 per US gallon. I have looked at private sale cars, and dealership cars, including at Germain Toyota, adjacent to Wilde Honda. At Clearwater Toyota, I was greeted with such intense sales pressure, that I just could not get out of that place fast enough. Several non Toyota dealerships were not quite as bad, but certainly not what I would consider as potentially pleasant to work with either. Then I discovered that Wilde Honda had a 2010 Toyota Corolla, with 7018 miles, that they had apparently obtained in a trade. I asked for the CarFax, which showed that the car had never been damaged, and had not been registered outside of Florida. Since I am an, I want all the information I can get, sort of guy ( would you want it any other way from YOUR airline captain? -- I can't help it, it is bred into me ), I took several days to conclude the sale. As a result, I interacted with 5 outstanding Wilde Honda employees along the way. It is entirely possible that they may not feel the same way about me, but in my opinion, Greg Cox, Eduardo Gonzalez, Steve Cavalieri, Flynt Johnson, and Jay Alexander, are ALL first class individuals. A car dealership buying experience was something I never thought I would consider as a positive. I was WRONG! These guys are GREAT at selling cars. Perhaps they are also the best psychologists ever. I prefer to believe that they treat customers with respect, simply because they are decent people themselves. A POSITIVE experience at Wilde Honda? ABSOLUTELY !!! Even after my taking delivery of the car, Craig?? took the time to contact the previous owner, and get a second set of keys for me. OUTSTANDING !!! More

I have purchased three cars from Wilde Honda and Michael Malmsbury being my salesperson for all three. Michael is very honest and trustworthy and I have been blessed to get to know him over the past 28 mont Malmsbury being my salesperson for all three. Michael is very honest and trustworthy and I have been blessed to get to know him over the past 28 months. He guided me through turning in a lease and starting a new one. Than he sold me a very nice older Oddessy van for my missionary son for his home service in the states. I can honestly recommend Wilde Honda and Michael Malmsbury for all your Honda needs. PS... I had never owned a Honda before in over 55 years of driving. If I keep getting good prices and honest service I will continue to return. More
We actually never thought we would have a dealership we would want to do continued business with – but Wilde Honda/salesman Michael Malmsbury has changed all that. We were vacationing in Florida for a few would want to do continued business with – but Wilde Honda/salesman Michael Malmsbury has changed all that. We were vacationing in Florida for a few weeks, leaving one week to find either a used Honda Civic or Toyota Corolla S. We thought – no problem, right? We looked by owner (first choice) and dealerships, finding neither vehicle suitable to our specs. Went online to Sarasota dealerships and came across a Honda Civic that sounded like a possibility. Gave a call just before closing, spoke with Michael and he gave us a history check on the vehicle over the phone, did a visual cosmetic inspection of the car to our verbal specs and called us back with that. Made an appointment first thing the next morning to see the car, it was just as Michael described. Michael treated us in a very personal manner, really wanting to work for us, and was able to secure the deal we offered. The vehicle had some minor issues (major to us, we know we are particular about our vehicles) and they had everything done for us the very next day. We would HIGHLY recommend Michael Malmsbury and Wilde Honda for your “beginning” search!! Larry & Carla Herlein, Spring Lake, Michigan More
I do not often take the time to write online (or any) reviews, but I wanted to commend Jack Roby and tell others why I think Jack can sell them a car without trying to insult their gender or intelligence reviews, but I wanted to commend Jack Roby and tell others why I think Jack can sell them a car without trying to insult their gender or intelligence. I knew exactly what I wanted. 2012 Civic LX in Urban Titanium. It is 2012, and as a female I should be able to buy a car without taking a man along for protection. If a salesperson has to play games to get business, they are a predator, not a salesperson. Surely in this day and age I should be expect to be treated with respect without having to bring my husband in to act as a human shield. I have another Honda dealership 5 minutes from where I live and I went there first. The experience was so negative I would rather bike 16 miles to work than buy a car from them. I had tried to communicate via email prior to arrival, but was not able to secure any information without coming in. Without knowing anything about me except that I am a female the sales rep (we will call him Voldemort) proceeded to tell me why I did not really want the car I said I wanted. No, I needed the more expensive model, and to settle for an in-stock color, and pay for dealer add-ons that I did not care about to the tune of $2k above MSRP. They acted like I was being a burden by insisting that I knew my own mind and wanting to know the total price rather than monthly payment. Like 'why would a sweet little girl like you want to know anything about such big numbers?' attitude. I could not get out of there fast enough. I suppose if you are nostalgic for a day and age where women could not vote and own property, you might still think about purchasing a car from them. The 'hey little girl would you like to buy some candy' sales tactics were demeaning. I should feel good about a potential purchase, not creeped-out and threatened. A little disheartened by the experience at the dealership close by, I contacted Jack Roby via the Wilde Honda website. I was very clear in communicating what I wanted, did not want, and he did not assume that he knew what I wanted more than I did. He emailed back to let me know they had the car I wanted in stock and gave me a total price that was $1,687 less than the best price my husband had been able to find for the make, model and color I wanted. I went in to complete the purchase the next morning. The 40 minute drive to the Wilde dealership to buy a car from Jack Roby was well worth it. He was as straightforward and honest in person as he was via email and phones. As a real salesperson he did not have to play games or try to exploit me to make a sale, and I feel that is how it should be when making a major purchase. Jack Roby's demeanor is not an act. Jack is just a genuinely nice guy who wants to sell you a car you will be happy with no matter your gender, color or creed. I hope you contact Jack at Wilde to buy a car, because honesty and fairness in car sales reps should be encouraged. I have recommended him to one of my good friends and I recommend him to anyone buying a car. I am very happy with the overall experience, and getting such a great car out of the deal. More
