Beware of new leadership! We traded in an odyssey for a newer odyssey at Honda of Sarasota while visiting family. 5 days after purchase we began having issues. After an initial set of run around and lies from Honda of Sarasota we took it to another dealership. It was diagnosed that an electrical panel had shorted out and rusted due to an on going leak in a seal. Something that is actually common to odysseys but also over $1000 that Honda and all of the 3rd party warranties they sold us will not cover. This should have been caught and corrected during inspection so either the inspection was not done properly or it was covered up. All we have received from this dealership is lies and run around and the new general manager, who it took multiple business days to request to speak with, thinks that paying for less than half of the repair for something he sold the vehicle with is acceptable. Also, if for some reason you do purchase with this dealership, make sure you take a picture of every single document they present you and you sign because there is a good chance you will never see them again. It took fighting with them for 2 weeks for them to over night only part of our financial documents. More
