Honda of Slidell

I recently received a quote to have a service done to my Honda 3 months ago for $293.00 after bringing the car in to have the service done it took all but 45 minutes to do the service. After the service was completed I was told that there was an 126.00 discrepancy because parts price went up due to tariffs increase. I should have been told prior to completing the work. I was a service manager for over 10 years and that is not how business should be done. He had 2 options is to keep the price for the original quote or tell the customer that there is a price difference before starting the work. So I ended up paying 419.89 for the job that was quoted 293.00 3 months ago. That is not how business should be done to keep repeat business. More
