Beat treatment ever after some simple questions I was looking to trade my vehicle in, and thought I would look into some local and close on line dealers to work with. What I found was Honda of Slid I was looking to trade my vehicle in, and thought I would look into some local and close on line dealers to work with. What I found was Honda of Slidell, and Jeremy, the acquisitions manager going to bat for me on a simple question I had been asking other dealers, and never receiving any support... until him. It is hard to believe there are still folks out there who follow through on what they commit to do, and the motto, "above and beyond" just begins to scratch the surface of how he made me feel. I will be back based upon the service and lagniappe received. More
"Patient Not Pushy!" I needed to sell my truck quickly. Because of the market, and after more than 2 weeks of time and expense, I could not sell it. Having to accept a Trade Price to sell it was a tuff decision to make. This truck was a nice one, but every dealer I took it to offered the same amount. Much less than we hoped for. Then Jeremy Stagray at Honda of Slidell took the time to not only go over the truck with a fine tooth comb, so to say, but finally offered $200 more than anyone else. He also took the time to tell me some things that I didn't even know about my truck. He was the most patient salesman or buyer that I have ever dealt with in over 40 years of buying and selling vehicles. No light statement for me to make. I was not only impressed by Jeremy, but the entire dealership. The concept that they use for dealing with customers is ahead of the industry standard and trend. They are changing the way the car buying, or selling, experience is for people. Never pushy and very patient. Came prepared with Kelly Blue Book estimates of trade in values and the car we were interested in purchasing. We brought clear titles and registration so we were very prepared. Everyone at the dealership was professional and friendly. They have to be some of the hardest working folks you'll ever meet- I didn't see anyone who wasn't giving 110% to keep things moving- especially our salesman, Oscar. They gave us a very fair price both for our trade in and our new vehicle. Nevertheless, it took us about 5.5hrs total from test driving the vehicle we were interested in to processing two trade-ins. Selling and Buying cars is a lengthy process and there are always some wait times involved as things get processed. The dealership kindly provided complimentary water, popcorn, and cookies. I wish they had had some healthier options like fruit or bagels. My only suggestion would be to either pack a lunch or at least snacks. Overall though it was a great experience! More

Update of Review Written May 18, 2014 For over a month, I’ve been trying to write a second review that would be fair to all parties. I have, however, been unable to find the right words. T For over a month, I’ve been trying to write a second review that would be fair to all parties. I have, however, been unable to find the right words. This dilemma probably exists, because what’s fair to one person or party isn’t always fair to another. So instead of trying to be fair, I’ll just present the facts, and what I believe to be true. Facts: 1. See first review written.Found at bottom of this review. 2. Had a five day wait from the time I requested an appointment with Nissan of Slidell until I could get one. 3. I was offered a rental car by Honda of Slidell while my car was being serviced, which I declined. 4. Ms. Lauren Miano from Honda of Slidell called to check on the progress of the car, and has continued to offer her assistance. My sincere appreciation goes out to her! 5. Nissan of Slidell had the car for almost two business days. On the second day around 2:30 I was told the car was ready. 6. Problem as written on paper work. Checked ground at transmission and found connector too painted bracket. Removed and clean connector at ground cable on front of the engine and rechecked pass. In English: paint on a cable was causing it not to connect with what it should have been connecting with. 7. So far I have not experienced any problems with the car. What I believe: 1. I believe with all my heart that I was not the first person to experience/know of the car’s problem. Did the previous owner experience the same problem? Is that why he or she traded the car in? 2. I believe that Honda of Slidell has acted in Good Faith as it relates to business, but not as it relates to a human being. I say this because good faith as it relates to business and human beings are two very different things. Relative to human beings, I should have been given the option of selecting a different car from their lot. However, considering the world in which we live, I realize that they aren’t sure which customers are honest and operating in good faith, and which ones are not. While I don’t blame them, it does sadden me. 3. Lastly, I believe in God. I’ve asked God to make sure that this car has no other problems than the normal wear and tear that you would expect from a car. 1st Review Of Honda of Slidell: On April 30, 2014 I purchased a 2012 Nissan Versa with 5,700 miles from Honda of Slidell. Thought I had been blessed, but instead, I had been cursed. The car has been nothing but a problem since day 3. It runs like a 10 year old car, and acts as if it’s going to cut off on me. I was almost hit from the rear when the car started malfunctioning on the highway. When I took it back to Honda of Slidell, on the 13th of May, I was told sorry, but there's nothing we can do. Take it to Nissan of Slidell because it's under warranty. Why should I or anyone else have to take a car that was just purchased from them, less than 15 days ago, to another dealer?
