I dropped my Pilot off for repair with service writer Tim the night before and he was very pleasant however the next day I dealt with Gino who was most concerned with selling unecessary work and having his l the night before and he was very pleasant however the next day I dealt with Gino who was most concerned with selling unecessary work and having his lunch delayed. I refused the unecessary work such as filters and fluid changes and authorized the necessary items. My car is out of warranty so I was paying for the repair. They charge the list price on all parts which is very high and not done at most Honda dealerships but they are the only Honda dealership in Staten Island NY so they can. The mechanic did a good job (interior of car was left dirty) and Tim was back in the next day and was very helpful. Bottom line is it depends on who your service writer is and be prepared to overpay. More
I had a very negative experience with this dealership on two occasions. We leased a Civic from them and they chnaged the lease details when we arrived to pick up the car. We almost walked out. The salesman did not know what he was talking about and did not go over details of the lease with us in advance. The manager they sent me to was pompous, choosing to speak down to us. I was very unhapy with how I was treated. They gave us oil changes to help ease the tension and finish up the lease process, Then the sales department gave us trouble about the oil changes later on, basically asking the service department to eat the cost, when it was the sales department that caused the problem in the first place. On the other hand, the service department is friendly, efficient and helpful. More

When we went into Honda and met with him everything he promised us was lived up to from the downpayment we wanted to our monthly payment. He was courteous, professional kind and a dedicated worker. At first i had no inclination to purchase. My credit score always held me back..and deposit was also a factor. I met a Mr. anthony Russo who was well knowledge and conforting to my needs. He was advising me to the options available without the usual pressure. After i saw the number..and a few inquiries..I was able to get very fair price plan with a small deposit. Mr Faysal explained all my purchasing extras and was clear on all aspects. Truly a memorable experience. I would recommend Staten Island Honda again to friends and will purchase again in the future. It was a great place and Anthony Russo was a great guy no games and gave you a fare deal. All the people there were very friendly and helpful. This was the third auto leased from this dealer. The salesman was very professional. Found the price good not great. The returned car was in mint condition with very low mileage. So I had leased my 2008 Honda Accord from Staten Island Honda, and had a horrible experience. When my lease was up I swore I would not go back there, but after shopping dealers in NJ and Brooklyn, I found Honda, and had a horrible experience. When my lease was up I swore I would not go back there, but after shopping dealers in NJ and Brooklyn, I found that these dealers where charging WAY more then I had paid for the same car 3 years prior, and they had little to no cars in stock. Against my best wishes, I returned to SI Honda to see what they can do. Boy how times have changed. I was greeted with a warm smile by Joe DeFeo, was shown options on the car that I never knew existed (that I even had on my own car) and was offered a test drive, something no other salesperson had offered prior. Joe gave us a fair deal, had the car we wanted in stock, and was even able to have me drive it home the same day! The "haggling" process was quick and easy, my husband and I joked that it seemed that Joe was more on our side then his boss LOL. Anybody who needs a Honda and is looking for the easiest experience possible, go see Joe today!! More
