I needed an oil change on my Honda Passport and this particular location in Old Bridge New Jersey welcomed me without an appointment...they were very efficient with the other vehicles with getting drivers in and out and I'm thinking that's why it's easy for them to take walk-ins because they really mean it when they say walk-ins and I really appreciate the service. I didn't have to wait no longer than 30 minutes and it was on a Saturday so the service was great and my Service Advisor, Sylwester Brulinski that waited on me was great ...he was very helpful he explained the services that was being performed on my vehicle in addition to the oil change that I was getting and he explained as well the receipt after everything was finished and what was recommended that I get taken care of and I was just very pleased with the service ...the environment felt comfortable even though most people weren't there long at all such as myself so I enjoyed that... the vibe and I would recommend this location to anyone that is getting their Honda serviced.

I was trying to get a broken mirror fixed for a Honda CRV for the 3 days and have had a very disappointing experience. Please find the sequence of events below. June 4th, 2026 - I took the car to Madison Honda for assessment of fixes needed for a broken passenger side mirror ( after I spoke to someone on the phone). I was attended to by Victoria. She engaged a tech who looked at the damaged mirror and told that all the motors / sensors are working fine and only the glass needs to be replaced and not the whole mirror assembly. Since the glass wasnt there, I was told it would be ordered immediately and I could book a service appt for June 5th. I booked and was told by Victoria that the glass was also ordered. June 5th, 2026 - I called up the parts department to find out if the glass had arrived. I was told no one ordered the glass !! I ordered the mirror (glass) myself . Then again called up service to rebook service appointment for June 6th. June 6th, 2026 - I reached Madison Honda. Checked my car in at around 9:55 am. At 11:30 am Victoria comes and tells me that simply replacing the glass isn't working and I will need a new mirror assembly. I agreed to buying a new assembly. But there is a new problem now. Victoria is unable to order a new assembly ( I am not sure why and she tries to reach out to the parts department ). She told me she is trying to do the right thing ( which was what was supposed to be done from the beginning ) . She assured me that she will give me a call by afternoon of June 6th, after ordering the mirror assembly. I also paid in full for the mirror which doesnt work ( it no longer can be adjusted using the switch as two clips are broken ). I did not receive the call and I dont think the mirror assembly was ordered. So I am left with a damaged mirror and frustrated at having to make another 2-3 trips to get it fixed. My expectations as a customer was. 1. Proper assessment of what the damage was and what needed to be fixed. 2. Follow ups as assured. 3. Not making me make multiple trips for a simple parts replacement. 4. Not making me pay for things which dont work. 5. Not leaving me with an unfixed damaged part. A consequence of these missteps is me missing a scheduled appointment twice ( as I was not comfortable driving to another state on the freeway with a broken mirror). Regretfully this was my first and last engagement with this dealership. I got my mirror replaced at Joyce Honda ( in an hour without an appointment and without having to preorder ).

Brought my 2018 HondaCRV (145k) in to Paul Miller for a warranty issue (head gasket). They cited a $200 fee to diagnose the issue. This would not be charged if the issue turned out to be under warranty. They called a few hours later to say my spark plugs were cross threaded and they may break them getting them out and they wanted my acknowledgment that I would be responsible for the repair. I smelled a scam. Told them not to touch it. Picked up my car and took it to my mechanic who removed each spark plug with ease right in front of me. Took my car to Joyce Honda where I had no issues, no diagnosis fee mentioned, no problem with spark plugs. Head gasket repaired at Honda’s cost. Thank you Earnest at Joyce Honda.

I have been a loyal Bay Ridge Honda service customer since 2017. Service has been on a decline; however, after this last experience, I will never return. What should have been a routine warranty tire replacement turned into one of the worst dealership service experiences I've ever had. I drove from New Jersey to Bay Ridge Honda because I trusted this dealership and had purchased a Honda tire warranty. After checking in, I waited approximately 45 minutes before being told the replacement tire wasn't in stock. While inventory shortages happen, everything that followed was entirely avoidable. My service advisor told me he would: * Obtain warranty authorization that Friday. * Call me Friday with an update. * Call me Monday regarding the repair. None of those calls ever happened. From Friday afternoon until Monday afternoon—I received ZERO proactive communication. No update on the tire, the warranty, the repair status, or when my vehicle would be ready. On Monday, I had to call the dealership 5separate times just to get an update. It wasn't until I requested to speak with a manager that I finally received a callback from Jay Polanco informing me my vehicle was ready. When I arrived to pick it up, it WAS NOT actually ready. My husband and I then waited another two hours while the dealership processed the warranty paperwork. I was now told they couldn't process the warranty until the repair was complete. If that's their process, why call customers to pick up their vehicles before the paperwork is finished? Throughout the experience, there was virtually no ownership, urgency, or empathy. No transportation assistance was offered after learning they didn't have the tire. No apology was ever given for the missed calls, the unnecessary delays, or the complete lack of communication. To make matters worse, I had to repeatedly request basic service documentation, and I never received the customary multi-point inspection report for my visit. I escalated the matter to American Honda and provided call logs, text messages, invoices, and receipts documenting everything that occurred. This review isn't about an inventory shortage. Those happen. It's about broken promises, poor communication, lack of accountability, and a customer service culture that left a long-time customer feeling like an inconvenience rather than someone whose business was valued. After nearly a decade of bringing my vehicle here, this experience permanently ended that relationship. If you're looking for a dealership that communicates proactively, respects your time, and takes ownership when things go wrong, I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere.
