This is the 2nd Honda CR-V I have purchased from Honda of Tenafly. I have sent my aunt here to purchase two CR-Vs, not to mention several friends. Why? NO STRESS! Firstly, we were pleasantly surprised when he did not try to push us into purchasing a new vehicle. In fact he was able to negotiate a price that was lower than the already reasonable online price. Herbie was very professional, yet temperate and friendly. It is obvious that he believes in the Honda product, is passionate about it and very knowledgeable as well. He showed us features on the vehicle that we would not otherwise have known about. Since the vehicle is used, there were a few items that had to be taken care of, including a dent in the rear bumper. When we picked up our vehicle we were pleasantly surprised to learn that Herbie and the service department had gone above and beyond what was required and had replaced the bumper. I was in the market for a Honda Accord and went to see Herbie at Honda of Tenafly. He laid out the pricing for my lease making sure to leave nothing out. He was honest about everything and disclosed all discounts and gave me a great price and lease terms. The test drive was also great. He did not rush me at all and took me on a variety of roads to see how the car rides on various road conditions. After we closed the deal, Herbie took the time to show me how to use almost every feature the car has (which is a lot). He made sure I was completely satisfied with everything before I set off. There's a reason Herbie has all positive reviews on this website. He the best salesman I've ever purchased a car from. He's a car enthusiast, like me, at heart and it really shows in his passion and knowledge for the cars he sells. I will not hesitate for one second to recommend Herbie to anyone looking for a Honda.
