It took me a while to get to wright this review. I've purchased my Accord from D&C last year after being to just about every dealership in Brooklyn, Queens, Long Island, and a couple of places in NJ. At DC I didn't get any break on a price (paid what was advertised) but the car was immediately available, tuned properly and it didn't take forever to arrange the paperwork. For me, a friendly, honest (as in "Dude, we are not giving you a discount but you'll get your money worth with this car" which, BTW, I did) atmosphere were well worth a couple of hundred extra bucks. I even got a ride to the bank :-). Jerry, thanks again, man! More
I called around to several dealerships before settling on D+C Honda as the place from which to buy my new car. I was still driving my first car, a Subaru Wagon that was new when I got it as a Junior in High D+C Honda as the place from which to buy my new car. I was still driving my first car, a Subaru Wagon that was new when I got it as a Junior in High School - 15 years ago. I was not excited about the process of changing cars. Herbie changed all of that. From the moment he took my phone call inquiring about the Honda Fit, his manner was friendly, patient, straightforward and hassle-free. There was no sales pressure to upgrade or make a quick decision. I came by to test-drive with an unruly bunch in tow: my dad and stepmom, their dog, and my husband. When Herbie opened the trunk of the test-drive car to find my husband sitting there, his reaction was priceless: "Wow - I've never seen that before! I guess you're not much of a car guy!" He had a great sense of humor and wonderful people-skills (and dog-skills!) When I finally made a decision to buy a car that he did not have in stock, he promptly located the car I wanted at another dealership, drove to pick it up, and arranged all of my insurance and registration transfer well ahead of the date we had agreed upon. The entire staff of the dealership was similarly courteous and helpful. I look forward to many years of returning to D+C for regular maintenance just to soak up their great customer service and say Hi to Herbie! More
As soon as I sat down with Doug, I immediately felt comfortable and knew that Doug would be looking out for my best interests. Being new to buying/leasing cars, I didn't necessarily feel disadvantaged comfortable and knew that Doug would be looking out for my best interests. Being new to buying/leasing cars, I didn't necessarily feel disadvantaged, and he was able to explain the process to me from start to finish, without some of the usual nonsense that I hear other car dealers throwing at customers. Most of all, I really appreciated Doug's attention to detail and willingness to follow up with me just a few days after driving my new car off the lot, just in case I had any questions or concerns. I would definitely recommend Doug and D&C Honda for a potential Honda buyer. More

I crashed my car on Saturday, and when my mom called Doug Daniele Monday morning, he had the perfect car for me. Just leased a 2010 Honda Accord from D&C Honda of Tenafly, NJ. Doug Daniele was my salesman. Of all the car buying experiences in my life none were ever as enjoyable as this. Doug was more like a concerned friend then a salesman. He was knowledgeable, efficient beyond belief, courteous and most of all patient. You will never feel pressured by Doug. He will go the extra mile over and over again to make sure you are happy and satisfied before, during and after the purchasing process. I watched him handle other customers while I was browsing the showroom and could see he genuinely cared about anyone he was working with. Even on my first visits when he knew I probably wasn't ready to buy he gave me his time and attention with no hesitation. Everyone at D&C Honda, including the owners Jeff and Norman, and Mark in finance, are the best at what they do and will make you feel comfortable and completely informed throughout your visit. Take my advice...if you are shopping for a car go see Doug Daniele at D&C Honda. You will get straight forward prices and answers to all your questions with no runaround. More

Well after being blown off in Paramus Honda - It was a pleasure to go to this dealership; we actually called DC Honda of Tenafly for directions in the Paramus dealership. We drove a half hour out of our way; we meet Kristen Tedesco. I could not have asked for a better salesperson. She was very knowledgeable and did not push us at any point of the purchase. She took her time and made sure my wife knew how to work everything in the car. The whole process was great and if anyone is looking for a Honda - follow the road less traveled to DC Honda of Tenafly and see what service is about. After driving away in my new Odysssey - I wanted to pull in to Paramus Honda and go up to the manager there and say" Remember us? The family that you did not want to help. Big Mistake!!" I mean I hear about this bad economy and here I was a guy who wanted to spend money. But I guess because they think that the location will make people buy from them - think again. Service is the most important thing and I will make sure that I tell everyone I know never to set foot in that dealership again. If you want a pleasant experience - forget about location - find out about service and ask Kristen to help you with your new car. More
Kristen Tedesco was extremely friendly and worked with me to the best I could have asked for. I would definatly recommend this dealership to my friends.
