I feel like the staff is always rude and they speak down to people. I dread going here unless I absolutely have to. When I made my appointment, I was told my recall would only take and hour so I schedule to people. I dread going here unless I absolutely have to. When I made my appointment, I was told my recall would only take and hour so I scheduled my day around the service. When I arrived, I was told it would take 2-4 hours and the absolute quickest they could do was 2 hours. The gentleman I worked with called up the girl who made my appointment and relayed that she said it would take 2-4 hours (not that that even proves anything. She could have lied and I didn’t hear the other side so it could have been a funny line). He made me feel stupid for thinking it would only take an hour and I felt like I was being interrogated for lying. While trying to figure out how to restructure my day and get a ride home and back, they finally offered the complementary car service. He also said they would wash my car as a complementary service. I get home realized I left my tumbler cup in the car service van and texted the number I was given right away with instructions as to where I left the tumbler. No response of course. After an hour and seven minutes, I was being called that my car was done and they couldn’t find my tumbler. That is interesting because I was just made to feel stupid for thinking an hour was enough time yet now, with the addition of a car wash, they somehow worked in record time. I guess a seven minute car wash is satisfactory to Honda. And how could my cup go missing if the driver just left when I sent the directions. Well Iow and behold, my tumbler was exactly where I said it would be, but the driver was never informed of the directions I sent. When I arrived at Honda to get my key, my car was not washed. Conveniently the gentleman knew how to text the following day, asking if my service was okay and to give him time to fix any issues before I take the survey. I gave him the same response he gave me about my tumbler - none. Customers should be treated properly the first time. This is an ongoing issue with Honda of Toms River since I bought my car in 2011. My family and I, who love Hondas, and have bought at least five over the years, two of which were a week apart, only go there for work if we have to. We avoid it at all cost when I can. Oh, and how did they do with the actual service they provided on the car - you tell me. They completed the work in half of the time and couldn’t follow directions on washing the car. Who knows if the correct issue was taken care of at all or if it was completed properly. I don’t know much about cars and that’s why my car was there. I expected the issue to be taken care if properly, but won’t know until I have an issue down the line. It’s not like I was able to watch them work on my vehicle so how would I know. Lastly, I was given a courtesy call a few days later thanking me for my new vehicle purchase and to let them know if I needed anything else. They are truly unorganized and need to pay better attention to their work as someone could get seriously hurt if the wrong issue is worked on because of incorrect paperwork. More
Took care of my 2016 Accord with 112K miles with no problems, and gave me a loaner vehicle when it appeared that the work would take longer than one day. The car runs great since I picked it up! problems, and gave me a loaner vehicle when it appeared that the work would take longer than one day. The car runs great since I picked it up! More
Tom was extremely helpful and went over and above for me. Since we live in the same town he returned my truck to me and took back the loaner saving me a trip back to the dealership!
