I h I meandered into Honda of Westport last week, just to "look around." I was THINKING of trading in my beloved 2005 Honda Element, but was unsure. I had struck up a pleasant dealer/buyer conversation with Darlene Miller a few days before. When I entered the dealership, I tracked down Darlene who turned out to be as congenial, witty, and KNOWLEDGEABLE about Honda's as I can imagine any dealer to be. In very few days, under Darlene's patient and personable guidance, I began to feel more and more inclined to make a trade. It's been since 2005 since I've dealt with a car salesperson, but I cannot possibly imagine one with more elan, good humor, or clarity of detail in helping me choose the Honda CR-V that now graces my garage and will, as soon as I hit "send" here, will be on the road to meet a pal for lunch.
