1st bad Ford experience since 1973. I have bought or leased Ford vehicles since 1973 from Ford dealers across the U.S. continent. This is my first bad Ford experience as well as my first experience with Honolulu Ford. It makes me ashamed to be from the islands. Drove new 2018 C-Max off the lot on Sunday, July 15th. At the first rain I realized that the rear windshield wiper was missing! Called. Was told when one came I would be called...that was almost two months ago. Have not received call about license plates...although my plates are good through September 20th...11 days from today. Most upsetting has been turning in my 2015 C-Max lease vehicle (2nd Ford lease from North County Ford in Vista, California). I was prepared to buy the car especially since Ford would no longer be making the C-Max. When I called on Thursday, Mario told me that they just got 2018 C-Max on the, so I might have 2018 to lease. We made an appointment for Sunday. In preparation for the possibility of my 3rd Ford lease,I had cleared and washed the car on Saturday, July 14th. I noted that the car charger was in the car on Saturday. I was delighted on Sunday to find a 2018 C-Max! My third Ford lease! I was told Honolulu Ford could take care 2015 C-Max lease. In transferring my personal belongings from the 2015 C-Max to the 2018 C-Max I noted again that the electric car charger was in the 2015 C-Max. A couple of weeks later, I was shocked and angry to receive an inspector's report charging me $500 for a missing electric charger...along with expected charges of excess mileage and wear and tear totally $807.85. I came down to search the car. No the charger was not there. On Wednesday, September 5th Ford Credit customer service person Randy called me ... we discussed the matter. He gave me loyalty waiver which reduced the balance from $807.85 to $493.71. Love my Ford car. I cannot say the same for Honolulu Ford. More

My ABS brake module went bad. I took it to Hon Ford to have it replaced. Service writer Chad Getz was great. He was very helpful and took cared off me. On Edge in the 808 I recently took my 2016 Ford Edge in for routine service and a mandatory safety inspection at Honolulu Ford. I met with my Service Advisor Chad who as I recently took my 2016 Ford Edge in for routine service and a mandatory safety inspection at Honolulu Ford. I met with my Service Advisor Chad who assured me that my car is in good hands and to go and help myself to some coffee while I wait in their customer lounge. I have always enjoyed the service and the free coffee every time I bring my car in for maintenance. My Service Advisor Chad is always on top of things and always explains what was done on my car or if there are any recommendations that may need my attention. So far, all is well and I am extremely happy with the service department and it’s personnel. Job done right! Mahalo Honolulu Ford for all that you do for me and all your other customers.
