In February, I purchased a CPO AMG GLE 63 from this dealership. During the purchase, I noticed scratches on the paint. The salesperson assured me they could be removed. After the sale, they were unable to remove the scratches and instead offered either a bumper repaint or a repair of scuffs on one of the wheels. I chose the wheel repair because it seemed simpler. When I brought the car in, the technician shaved down part of the wheel to hide the scuffs, which made the damage more noticeable. I raised my concern with the Sales Manager, Tommy, who was polite and asked me to bring the car back. After dropping it off for the third time, I was told the wheel would be replaced if it could not be repaired. When I returned to pick up the car, I discovered they had shaved down almost the entire outer rim of the wheel, altering its appearance. To conceal this, they performed the same procedure on the wheel behind it—resulting in mismatched wheels on each side of the car. A Service Advisor agreed that this was not an appropriate repair, so I refused to take the car back until the issue was resolved. Additionally, I found a dent on the rear driver-side bumper and reported it. I was told a dent specialist would look at it. The next day, Tommy called to inform me that they would not be doing anything further and offered to void the purchase. However, I had already invested significantly in PPF for the car. I told him I needed time to think. About an hour later, he called again and said he had replacement wheels available and asked me to come inspect them. When I arrived, I saw that the replacement wheels had different tires. I asked that my original tires be transferred to the replacement wheels, as the car should not have mismatched tires. He reacted as though this was an unreasonable request. When I brought up the dent again, he said they would not repair it. I asked him to review the drop-off video to confirm the dent was not present beforehand. He responded that the video was only intended to show the car’s cleanliness. The following day, Service contacted me and said they need to transfer my original tires to the replacement wheels for safety reasons—which is what I had requested from the start. They also said they heard about the dent and would review the video footage regarding the dent and take care of it if it was not present before. A few hours later, the sales assistant called to say that Tommy had denied the dent repair. When I asked about the video, I was told the footage was “grainy,” which contradicted the previous explanations. I have now been given three different stories about the video, and I am left with an unresolved dent issue. I have escalated this matter to Mercedes corporate and the General Manager for further review. More

Their service department is horrible! I had such a bad experience there, I interacted with 3 different people including a Manager (Bryan) and none of them had a minimum Knowledge of what I had such a bad experience there, I interacted with 3 different people including a Manager (Bryan) and none of them had a minimum Knowledge of what providing good customer service is about, it was very disappointing and frustrating! Just to make it short what really bothered me is that they wanted to charge me almost $500 just to clean the cupholder on the back seat of my car because it was getting stuck, this is the text I got from the service Rep (Daisy) "The rear wiper is worn, he does recommend replacement as well. As for the second row, he found soda in the cupholder that has it stuck shut. He can clean it as best as possible which would be $449 or he can replace it which would be $1406 plus tax. " When I read this text I wanted to laugh! The cupholder only needed to be cleaned which I had done later and now it is working perfectly fine! NO REPLACEMENT NEEDED! This was totally absurd! When I asked to speak to a manager I got transferred to "Allison" another Service Rep which basically told me To take my car to an Auto Detail please to get it clean for cheaper! She was rude and Not helpful at all! Next day went to pick up my car, I was greeted with an attitude, saw the manager passing by and asked to speak to him, well believe or not he was Worst, he was just there listening to answer not to understand, no other options given, just said that if I wanted it cleaned I would have to pay what they were asking for and to keep in mind their prices were better than anyone else... well I told him I would't mind paying 100 times more as long as I get a better customer service! As someone with over 25 years of experience in customer service, I have a deep understanding of what good customer service looks like. Unfortunately, my recent experience at Mercedes-Benz House of Imports in Buena Park was extremely disappointing. I found it hard to believe that the staff, who are supposed to assist and support customers, displayed such unprofessional behavior and lack of understanding. More
