Great Service! Tim was awesome, best experience I’ve had purchasing a vehicle. Not pushy, listened to my needs and did not take advantage of us as a consumer! Two trips to this dealer have resulted in excellent service and proper maintenance. Whenever we are in town to visit family, this is our "Go To" Chevy dealer. service and proper maintenance. Whenever we are in town to visit family, this is our "Go To" Chevy dealer. More
Outstanding job by the entire dealership but especially by Ted. He provided timely, relevant information and more importantly advice. We will use Hubler as our first choice going forward, and ask for Ted by Ted. He provided timely, relevant information and more importantly advice. I wanted to update you on the 2024 Duramax Silverado 2500 I purchased last Friday. As you know I traded in my 2004 Duramax Silverado 2500. Prior to that I owned a 1999 LT Silverado and before that I owned a I purchased last Friday. As you know I traded in my 2004 Duramax Silverado 2500. Prior to that I owned a 1999 LT Silverado and before that I owned a 1991 Chevy work truck. I live in Rockwall Texas and purchased the vehicle at your lot in Greenwood Indiana since the 2004 truck had finally lost its reliability after nearly 300k miles. Upon leaving your lot on Friday we packed the new truck up and headed to Texas. At 2am in the morning the check engine light came on with less than 500 miles on it. The vehicle continued to perform fine and we made it home with no other issues, thankfully. This was 5/5/2023. On 5/6/2023 I called but your office was already closed for the day. After that I downloaded the my Chevrolet app on my phone. I was able to schedule the service for the vehicle for Monday 5/8/2023. I received an email from Michelle Dixon at Lakeside Chevrolet confirming the appointment. Upon arriving for my appointment Elizabeth was at the booth and I asked for Ms. Dixon. She stated that Ms. Dixon didn’t work in the service department. None of the information from my online entry made it to the service department. The first question Elizabeth asked was where did I purchase the vehicle. I explained the situation and was told that it will be 3-5 days before they would even look at the vehicle. I obviously was frustrated by this. I asked if they could at least plug into the system and do a quick diagnostic as maybe it was something simple. She did not have the 2024 equipment to read the system. This check engine light to me is strike one. I talked about the details of my proud new purchase and began to get a negative impression when asked about the deal I got and about the financing. I was debating purchasing a used vehicle and understood that a new vehicle would have better financing rate. Last week my associate purchased a new vehicle and is going to be financed at 5.49% I explained to several about my interest rate over 8%. It sounded like it was my credit worthiness was the issue to others. I have excellent credit rating. I was told by Hubler credit manager that this was the best rate and that even the owner of that dealership just purchased a vehicle and is paying this 8.1% rate. I let it go but am now questioning the integrity. This financing persona has shed a light on my image and to me is now strike two. Did I make the wrong decision in this purchase? There is not a strike three as of today 5/9/23. I purchased a new vehicle so that I would not have to spend hours taking a vehicle to the shop and then paying over half of the loaner or rental vehicle cost if it’s even available. I gave a 10/10 satisfaction rated because I was so impressed with Wayne Fogerty and his honesty, integrity and knowledge for all the new and used Chevy and GMC products. However, Mr. Fogerty is unfortunately the only one who has impressed me with customer service since this transaction last Friday. I am confident the problem will be solved, with what level of inconvenience is still unknown, but so far isn’t looking good. Even bigger concern is future problems with a one off product from Cheverolet/ GMC, that I don’t want to be a part of. A strike three will indicate to me that I have made a choice that was wrong. I will be looking to do all in my legal authority to change course. Should this vehicle be returned in the next 30 days where would I take it? Sincerely, Brian Fidger More
