Ticking time bomb My escape started having a problem with the ignition sticking in the start position. Happened once or twice and didn't think much about it but then on My escape started having a problem with the ignition sticking in the start position. Happened once or twice and didn't think much about it but then once a few days later it didn't start until the second or third try. Went to the dealer and unfortunately they were very busy and I wasn't able to get an appointment for a number of days. Tried not to use the vehicle over the weekend but had to and it almost left me stranded so we took it in on Sunday and just left it there. Figured it was getting close to failing completely and didn't want to end up having to be towed. My scheduled appointment was for Wednesday but unfortunately I was having surgery that day and had really wanted to get it done sooner . I didn't want to get stranded and secondly it was a more comfortable car than my BF's to be in after the surgery to get home. Long story short, I got a call Monday afternoon it was done. Made my day for sure and the surgery went well too. :-) Call for your appointment or at least confirm over the phone as they are still working the kinks out on the internet scheduling :-( Mine got lost but they still managed to get me in for the diagnostic.
