I left car before 7am w/ message that starter was broken. Called at 10 AM, spoke to Josh, who said they'd run diagnosis & get back to me. Heard nothing for 5 hrs, so I called & left mesg for Josh. He called me at 3:50 to say I need a starter, & I had to tell him I'd have work done within TEN minutes to order part for next day repair, otherwise I couldn't get car for 2 days!! You had my car for EIGHT hrs & told me what problem was with only Ten minutes to make decision. Shame on you!! Price quoted was ridiculously high including 3 hrs labor, which is highway robbery. 1350.00. Diff Mechanical told me starter takes less than 1 hr to install. Josh said he could negotiate lower price (1150.00) but didn't like my attitude. (He reduced px for just 2 hrs labor). Price was still crazy high. I pd for diagnostic, which included a 3%fee because I used credit card. (Why don't you state this policy in writing so customers know)?? I went to a mechanic who charged me 170. for the 1 hour labor & got a Honda part for less than you quoted me. I will never return to Hudson Honda. You should be ashamed of the inflated prices you charge in Hudson Cty. I work in Hudson County, 2 blocks from your dealership.
