BAD!!! Experience with sales I have shopped at Humes in the past and had a great experience buying a vehicle. On 05/06/14 I traveled to Erie for a meeting. Humes was contacted for I have shopped at Humes in the past and had a great experience buying a vehicle. On 05/06/14 I traveled to Erie for a meeting. Humes was contacted for a price quote on a Ram 1500 quad cab. Brooke Reese was the salesman spoken to. He took the info of the type of truck and options required. Mr Reese said he would call back with the info. Mr Reese never returned the call so leaving Erie heading to Humes another call was placed to Mr Reese. This was about two hours after the first call. Mr Reese claims he didn't know he was to call back and was waiting for me to show up and talk to him. Ok, maybe he forgot or misunderstood - this is understandable. The numbers given were higher than a quote from a different Dodge dealer. Mr Reese was asked if this was the best price or if they would work with me to equal the other dealer. The attitude turned rude almost to the point of belligerent. The last comment Mr Reese made was "well, you would be stupid to shop here if you can get it $2,000 cheaper somewhere else". This was unfortunate for Humes dealership. I have a 17 and an 18 year old who are getting vehicles as graduation presents. I'm buying a new truck. My fiancé is buying a sports car now the kids are old enough to leave the house to college. Mr Reese and the attitude lost 4 sales for Humes this month alone. After a 7 Chrysler/Dodge vehicles in the last 12 years it may be time to try a Ford. More

Also, if he wasn't sure of something I asked, he immediately found the info I needed, which helped me make a decision on whether or not to buy the vehicle. Which I did. As I walked around the dealership, I also noticed how friendly the other employees were with the other customers, as well as myself. They made you feel right at home. When it came down to brass tax time, Eric didn't him haw around like most salesmen I've encountered, that mainly just sugar coat things and dance around the real factors in buying a vehicle. He knew what I needed to here and what I wanted to hear and did it with quickness. He also went the extra mile for me with no hesitation. I can see why they are ranked 7th in the nation for service. There are 3 other Chrysler owners in my immediate family, and I will make sure I advise them to go to Humes before trying any other dealership first. Why waste your time with others when you can go to the best. I am very satisfied with my purchase and have never felt like I walked away with a more fair deal than I did with Humes. They will definitely get my business again. Way to go guys!!! More

I was very pleased with the customer service I received from Bob. I was unsure of what vehicle I wanted to start my new lease in and Bob was very patient and helpful in allowing me to look at several vehic from Bob. Actually, the morning I leased my new vehicle I was planning on getting a Jeep Patriot and Bob had it all ready for me when I got out there. Once I arrived, I learned about a deal on the Jeep Compass (after talking with my brother who got a Jeep Compass that morning). Even though my Patriot was cleaned and ready to go, Bob got a Compass ready for me to view as well and I fell in love with it. I left there extremely happy with my Compass and was very appreciative of the support Bob gave me throughout the process, making sure my needs were satisfied. Locking yourself into a three year lease is a big move and Bob understands that and makes the process much more enjoyable.
