More Than I Would Have Thought I needed a new vehicle for work, travel and because my old vehicle simple had been ran into the ground. I had been searching for a very specific car w I needed a new vehicle for work, travel and because my old vehicle simple had been ran into the ground. I had been searching for a very specific car with the specific features and tech that I wanted in a new car. After driving to Greenville and trying every dealer they had on Laurens Road I finally came back, home, to Anderson to try a few dealerships. I first went to Kia of Anderson and then to Piedmont Honda of Anderson and found that though they had some nice vehicles they were unwilling to budge on price and did not have exactly what I desired in a vehicle. I did some more online research and found out I had a Hyundai dealership right here in Anderson and drove up to see Sean. I wanted a car that was great on gas mileage because I will be driving 30+miles a day and I also wanted great tech and, the thing everyone kept questioning me on, an on-board navigation system. Sean did not question or try to sell me something else- he took me to exactly what I wanted. The issue that came up once I got to the car, a 2017 Elantra Limited, was the price. Sean had me look at the Elantra base model first and it had most of what I asked for but no nav system. He offered to go a few thousand off the base model price but once I saw he was able to go down a bit i was curious to see the Limited model. He gladly showed me and drove around, showed me the tech and it was exactly what I wanted. Previously though, I went to Piedmont Honda and they were now reaching out to me about a crossover SUV they had that would have all I wanted and space. I told this to Sean to be as transparent as possible. He did what I wish more salesmen would do- instead of haggling directly with me to see my limit he went directly to his manager to see the absolute lowest he could go on the car for me. The car had a base price of $26,900 and he ended up getting it down to $20,970. Fantastic! He assured me that was the direct price and that he would take care of the fees and tag for me. There was no "hidden fees". I was sold and the next day I picked up my new car. I am driving my new Elantra Limited and loving it. I will be driving this car for years and telling my friends all about it and Hyundai of Anderson! -Colt More
