Amazing, overwhelmed and joyful This was my first time going into a dealership because of my past poor credit. I kept receiving letters that i was pre-approved for a loan through Cap This was my first time going into a dealership because of my past poor credit. I kept receiving letters that i was pre-approved for a loan through Capital One/ Hyundai of Anderson. I always had to keep getting cars off craigslist or buy here/pay here lots. Always end up with another car within a few months. I decided to take the last letter i received on New Year's Eve and go with it. I was greeted within a min of walking in the door. The salesman, James Speakman was very nice. He showed me a car or two, then instead of showing more, he/we decided to go inside and do a credit check to see what capital one would approve me for and take it from there. Long story short, we drove a Chrysler 200, 2012. He went over every detail of the car. He asked me how i liked it and i loved it. We went back inside and sat for a moment. James came back to me with an approval amount and what down payment was. I was shocked, i had tears coming down. NEVER have i been approved for anything. I am truly blessed. Went and filled out and signed the paperwork. I drove home in my new car that same night, January 1, 2016. My interest rate was like 24% with monthly pymts of 341.00. The next day, Cowboy, Manager of financing called me back and wanted me to come back in if possible. I went back that day he called me and he spent all morning trying to get me a lower % rate. And he DID it. He got me a 12.5% with a payment of 249.00 a month. These men are awesome. I am truly thankful for all they have done for me and i am loving my car. I will be telling everyone about them, my experience and hoping they to will go down there and purchase a car...thank you so very much gentlemen and happy new years to you and your family at Hyundai of Anderson. I was pleased with the staff. I have no evidence of any problems with the servicing of my Sonata, however I can't help but suspect that the work was not all done, or not done effic I have no evidence of any problems with the servicing of my Sonata, however I can't help but suspect that the work was not all done, or not done efficiently when I brought it in to have 2 recalls taken care of. It seemed strange that I went in for 2 recalls, but when I picked up the car the receipt said 3 recalls had been taken care of! I never knew what the 3rd one was! Then just a week later the engine malfunction light comes on and I noticed the "jerking" when I accelerated! That too was diagnosed as "a recall" with no explanation as to what the actual problem was. I can't help but wonder if something was left undone on that first recall trip???? At any rate, the work was done and we were not charged for the work nor for the wrecker service to bring the car to Anderson! We are very thankful for that! We had assumed the transmission was failing and envisioned a huge expense. It was a blessing to find out that was NOT the problem and that Hyundai was taking care of the cost! More
