Hyundai of St Augustine

Having had a bad experience while looking to purchase a car at another dealership (at Daytona AutoMall), I saw the same type of car online at Hyundai of St. Augustine. So I reluctantly stopped by there exp car at another dealership (at Daytona AutoMall), I saw the same type of car online at Hyundai of St. Augustine. So I reluctantly stopped by there expecting to go through the same "bait and switch" deal that had happened earlier that day and was warmly greeted by Gordon Burke outside. I told Mr. Burke what I wanted to spend and that I would be trading in my SUV and asked about the car I saw online. He showed it to me and then we went for a test drive, but it was a base trim Sonata and didn't feel as smooth as I expected. While there I inquired about two or three other cars on the lot and each time Mr. Burke went back inside to make sure he had all the correct information before quoting me any details and taking them for a test. My wife and I agreed on one particular Sonata and after going inside he went on the computer to "run the numbers" on the car and my trade-in. Here's where I was expecting the big sales push I had experienced earlier - giving me less for my trade-in and adding more to the Sonata that I was looking at and trying to get more money from me.. But after 10-15 minutes, he showed me "The Deal" he worked out with his manager, Dave Mayfield. They actually offered me more for my trade-in that I had told him I needed, and reduced the quoted price to get me BELOW the price that I told him I wanted to spend! In my opinion, this is the way a dealership (or any business) should work. I feel like Gordon Burke and Hyundai of St. Augustine went out of their way to earn my trust...and my business by giving me the best deal they could, and not just try to take the money I had available. Being new to the area, I don't know if all the other dealerships around here work like Hyundai of St. Augustine or like that other place I went to, but as far as I'm concerned, Hyundai of St. Augustine has set the standard that I will judge all other car dealerships by - and it's a high standard for any of them to achieve. More

Dealership went above and beyond to locate the vehicle that we wanted. There were none local and traveled through three state to obtain my car.
