"Service is beyond expectation"

I drive several miles beyond another Hyundai dealership to go to St. Augustine . They are incredibly honest. The service personnel care. The waiting room is clean and comfortable with homemade warm chocolate chip cookies. Today I had a problem wth a front right light not operating. Originally I was told it required a $300 plus part. My service attendant Tunde sent it to a different place than originally scheduled. They found a bad bulb and a loose connection $50. This is why I trust them. Kind, polite and honest. Difficult to find in a car dealership. Tunde is the greatest.

"Mr. Early really talked me into getting a new car"

He was very nice and helpful with informing me on everything i needed to know about the car. He a very good salesman because i wasn't going to buy another car i was just looking around. Mr.Early also made sure i knew everything about the car he showed me things i didn't even know how to work. I must say i am very pleased with my new car and i will let all my friends and family know about Hyundai is the best to buy a car from.

"Great serviceat at all levels"

Trying not to sound too gushy, but as a Canadian who has had most of my warranty work on my 2014 Santa Fe XL done at your dealership, I have really appreciated the stellar service received at Hyundai of St Augustine. Over the years, Cheryl as a service consultant, has had a real “what can we do to make this work for you” attitude, cheerfully offered. (Special thanx to tech who has worked on my BSD...really knows his stuff) Even Bob in parts finds a way to solve problems with a positive attitude. Many Thanx!! Fred

"Didn't fix my dad's car actually made it worse"

My dad's motor locked up in his Hyundai Sonata due to a recall. The service department replaced lots of things including the motor, turbo, alternator, and starter. Well the car burned up within 10 miles of my dad picking it up after being "fixed." Hyundai of Saint Augustine won't take responsibility so my dad is left with a car payment on a car that is completely destroyed.

Our sincere apologies for your negative experience with our service department. This is uncharacteristic of the excellent experience we strive everyday to provide our valued guests. In speaking with my service department, your Elantra with the GDI engine can occasionally blow a puff of smoke from the exhaust during times of hard/fast acceleration. This is a normal characteristic of the Elantra GDI engine and doesn't pose any harm to the vehicle. We apologize that our staff didn't explain this to you more clearly. "Dont waste your time in the service department "

The sales team was great but the service department (with the service writer with whom I delt who's name I dont even know because he didn't properly introduce himself) was completely lack luster and a joke. The service writer didnt even get a service Tech to review my problems on my bran new car, and wrote it off as could not verify concerns. While one of my concerns was truly not present at the time, I myself pointed out the the second issue AFTER the service writer refused to listen that the issue was only present in direct sunlight. I myself turned the vehicle in to the sunlight and showed him the defect in my windshield and he still refused to acknowledged there was an issue even after i clearly pointed it out or that he would get with the service manager, just that he could write down that he might see something on the windshield and the service manager would have to see it but he showed no true concern about getting my issued resolved or that there was truly and issue after i pointed it out. I took my car to hyundai of Orange park and within minutes a service writer got an actual technician over, he then verified my issue, acknowledged it, and then said he would actually talk to the service manager so we could set something up to get my issue resolved because it was clearly present. The service center at hyundai of st Augustine expressed no such integrity in helping me Resolve my issues with my brand new vehicle that only has 2.7k miles on it. Do not waste your time on going to this service center to get Put Off, or told "my manager will have to see this" without truly having your issue acknowledged or taking the steps necessary to set something like that up

"Another Excellent Service Experience"

From 7/2012 to this day I have purchased and/or leased 3 new Hyundai cars from this dealership so I have extensive experience with all aspects of the operation. This most recent service entailed an oil change, rotate/balance tires and an engine control update. I always wait and this time I was in and out in 1 hr. 45 min. A typical oil change usually takes 1 hr. or less. I don't think it could be much better that that and I have always thought their service prices were fair and reasonable. Although I have never had an unacceptable experience with this service dept. I recognize that perfection doesn't exist and people will have bad days and there will be some undesirable experiences from time to time and in these cases I strongly suggest the customer bring any issues to there attention as I believe they will try their best to make it right. I have always found all personnel to be courteous and competent.
