Kerry Murphy, Great Salesman Upon arrival, we were greeted by this very large man with a smile on his face. He asked if he could help us. He directed us to his work station and Upon arrival, we were greeted by this very large man with a smile on his face. He asked if he could help us. He directed us to his work station and asked us if we would like a cold beverage(after all, it was a hot day in the south). He provded us with a cold drink. We informed him that we were looking at purchasing a QX60 SUV. Very pleasantly he inquired about the color of vehicle and other specifics we would like for the SUV to have. He had already made inquiries about where we were from. After getting the specifics about the vehicle , he escorted us out to look at different vehicles that met out specifications. He had already picked up the keys for vehicles that we might be interested in. He, then accompanied us on a test drive. Upon returning to his office, he got a quote on the specific SUV we were interested in. He was very knowledgeable about the QX60 and answered every question my husband asked. He indicated that he wanted to do whatever was needed for us to make a purchase. He gave us space and allowed us time to privately talk. After his first purchase offer, my husband asked him to go back and get the bottom line price. He did so. He came back with confidence that we would make a deal. My husband was satisfied with the bottom line offer and told him thT he just made a deal. He escorted us over to the finance manager's office. He then disappeared. We didn't know what had happened to him because by that time it was almost quitting time. To our surprise, once all the paperwork was done, he showed up and escorted us to his space to go over the operating procedures for the SUV. Once this was done, we were taken to the vehicle, which had already been detailed and parked at the entrance. He showed us all of the specifics about the SUV and he even took the time to program my cell phone, seating, and mirrors. He checked to see if the vehicle had been geeked with gas. It had not been filled , so we followed hi to a gas station where he pumped the gas to fill the vehicle. All of this oetsonal service and attention was more than we had received on the other two visits to this dealership and the one in our home state dealership in Jackson,MS. In Jackson, we had to go and ask if there was anyone was available to assist us and the person that finally came out didn't seem to be very interested in our business . Murphy as he is called was the epitome of what every salesperson should be. His behavior left a lasting impression on us and that is why I am writing theses comments which is something that is typically not done. We would gladly recommend this dealership and Kerry Murphy to everyone. Great salesman and great deskership.!!!!By the way, there was another couple in the adjoining cubicle that purchased a vehicle and they had to wait a very long time for their vehicle to be detailed because they didn't have a salesperson who took the vehicle over and personally they helped with the detailing to make sure it was done right and in a timely manner .
