Brake issue The right rear brake on my ‘14 Q50S has been making a horrendous squealing sound for several months. After having an incredibly difficult experience working with the Infiniti dealer I purchased the car from in central Mass, Infiniti USA sent me to Infiniti of Norwood. Nigel and his team have been excellent to work with! Great communication, easy to talk to, tremendously helpful and a pleasure to work with. Thank you! I feel as though they have gone above and beyond to help me resolve this issue (and we are still working on it.) I also had an oil & filter change while my car was there. The job was done well and engine compartment was clean / no oil spills / drips. The cost of the oil & filter service (synthetic) was about $40 more than at my previous Infiniti dealer though. Thought this was a bit high, but honestly, the quality of service I am seeing is worth it. Great experience, thank you. More
Fast , polite and knowledable I brought my car in for service that took me in and had a loaner car for me within 10 minutes. While the serviceman moved my car he noticed a very sma I brought my car in for service that took me in and had a loaner car for me within 10 minutes. While the serviceman moved my car he noticed a very small detail that I never noticed and took care of it, in the 2 minutes he was in my car. My car was finished on time and on budget. Poor service My car with 41K miles under full warranty had failed a state inspection due to the inboard side of the front rotors not wearing correctly. The pad con My car with 41K miles under full warranty had failed a state inspection due to the inboard side of the front rotors not wearing correctly. The pad contact area was 50% rusted and not being contacted by the pad. This was on both sides. The pads were fine. both the inspection station and the state inspector said that something was wrong and it could not pass. Infiniti if Norwood tech looked at it and said everything was to spec with the brakes and they were operating as designed. I asked to speak with service manager and was told he was not available. I had them give me a print out of their diagnosis and after they changed a marker bulb, I left with my paperwork to bring it to the inspection station. They said the brakes are not safe and contacted the state inspector who also agreed that the brakes were not safe. I had to have the brake pads and rotors changed so I could pass inspection. I will be contacting Infiniti Corporate to report this. I have pictures, actual parts, and the supporting documents. More
