In dealership with my handicap husband and you tell them you can't afford a certain amout and they come back with a 99 CENT reduction in a montly payment and then pressure you in purchasing an over inflated gap insurance policy. Follow yiur fitst instincts and go elsewhere. Customer is not #1 as they advertise. Not the sales agents fault he's just doing his job and presenting information that the finance guy was giving him.
