Misled and took advantage of immigrant customers...My Misled and took advantage of immigrant customers... My aunt leased a vehicle in 2017 from this dealership and was convinced to buy the Platinum Pro Misled and took advantage of immigrant customers... My aunt leased a vehicle in 2017 from this dealership and was convinced to buy the Platinum Protection Plan. She is an immigrant and does not speak English as fluently (so I am writing this review on her behalf). As she understood it, the dealership representative told her this protection plan would cover any damages and would provide "complete peace of mind." In hearing this, she agreed to purchase the plan. She never received written materials about the plan, nor did the representative mention anything about the "fine print." Now that she is planning to return the vehicle, she found out that the plan does not, in fact, cover all damages, and she is on the hook for scratches on the vehicle. We called the dealership to figure out why they did not clarify this at the beginning, but they told us there is nothing they could do and told us to call Infiniti Financial or the protection plan provider. The protection plan provider told us there is nothing they could do and told us that only the dealership has a say in waiving charges and making this right. As you can imagine, we are frustrated to be jerked around in such an inconsiderate way. It is incredibly disappointing to see a dealership in this diverse community taking advantage of people who do not speak fluent English and misleading customers. This was my aunt's first experience with leasing at Infiniti and it will definitely be her last. I am writing this review to warn others against the upselling practices at this dealership and to share our terrible experience. More
