I'd recommend stay far Truck I bought has already had many problems and rust was hide with spray paint. Never had these kind of issues at Rayskillman. I'd recommend stay far away from this place. Also took the truck back to get my door Handle fixed and they scratched my mirror but never told me. I noticed when I got home. More

Great Friendly Staff, Quick Responses, However I live roughly 5 hours away from Indy Auto Man. I saw on their website the vehicle that I was interested in purchasing, and decided to be spontaneous I live roughly 5 hours away from Indy Auto Man. I saw on their website the vehicle that I was interested in purchasing, and decided to be spontaneous as I usually am. I called in and got with Lisa, and within two hours we had the car on hold for me and I was approved for a loan. They stayed open late, especially Dimitri, while I gave the car a final look over and the much anticipated test drive, and it turned out great. My brother and I knew they have been sitting on this car a while, and I was a little concerned about buying it because within the month I was going to put 5000 miles on it with weddings and work, and wanted a warranty. Eugene understood and worked with me to get me a 3000 mile warranty included in the price of the vehicle. The car had some minor things not shown or worded clearly in the ad. Mainly, some rust underneath weather guards in the wheel well (wasn't too concerned since I am dipping the underneath of the car to protect against such rust), sunroof motor is out, and I somehow overlooked that I am missing a headrest on the backseat. That is when I got a little sour taste in my mouth. Within the first 1000 miles, check engine light came on, and recommends a fuel pump. My certified mechanic from Aamco in the town I live in did a full inspection, and noted the front driver side hub needed replaced, brakes, and the fuel pump, though I believe it could be a O2 sensor instead. The cost for a shop to do everything would be around 1100, which is the consumer rate. I contacted Indy Auto Man three times via phone, and two emails before I was returned with more bad news. I knew there was a catch in the warranty, and sure enough the work had to be done by Indy Auto Man (5 hours away) or by a Land Rover Dealer (2.5 hours away). I figured we could have easily worked something out and split the repair to keep me here in town where I am needed at work as well as not to inconvenience me by trying to schedule a time with them or Land Rover in a city for them to do all the work in one day (which would have been unlikely to be completed). At the time, I had about 400 miles left on my warranty, and decided against going out of my way to get a hold of them anymore to visit my friend who became ill and put in the hospital instead, therefore, putting me out of my warranty coverage. I urge anyone buying from any dealer to really petition for some coverage to help you out. I thought by me being so far away as well as working in the occupations I do that they could arrange to have a certified, national mechanic to do the work, and I was even willing to split all work 50/50, but they made it clear they didn't seem to care how I was doing a month removed from purchasing the car. All around, they are awesome, great prices and easy to work with staff. But remember, they are still in retail, so customer service only goes to a certain point in that field. Love my car, loved the process, however wished they could have went that extra mile or answered a call to make it that much more special. I hopefully will never need to purchase another used car from a dealer, but if I had to, I would consider Indy Auto Man still just due to the selection, prices, and staff; but am not opposed to searching elsewhere. Lastly, I paid 500 before seeing the car to put down and put the car on hold so it wouldn't sell on my drive up there (though the car was sitting there for over 2 months from when my brother saw it when they bought the BMW 545i from them about that long ago) and they said it went towards my car, however I cannot find such charge or credit for a 500.00 payment on any of my paperwork or on my remaining loan balance. It may be worded some how differently and lost in a fee somewhere, but something else I find to be a little awkward. I know I sound negative about this place, and I am not trying to be. Overall, it was a nice experience, just wasn't wowed with how some things are handled. I grew up around cars and work with dealers all the time and it is always the same story. I was just hoping to maybe found that one different place. More
Underhanded Sold a car without ever offering a test drive, found out this was due to the severe water damage the vehicle had due to a leak in the sunroof, no pics Sold a car without ever offering a test drive, found out this was due to the severe water damage the vehicle had due to a leak in the sunroof, no pics of the back of the vehicle online due to broken taillight globe, etc. Dealer still hasn't returned my call. Hope for All I am a glazier and my work requires a lot of travel. I was the owner of a 2000 Grand Jeep Cherokee Laredo that had served me very well for 14 years. I am a glazier and my work requires a lot of travel. I was the owner of a 2000 Grand Jeep Cherokee Laredo that had served me very well for 14 years. As I was on my way to Mississippi from Indianapolis one fine Sunday, the old Jeep finally breathed her last mile. It is the only vehicle that I owned and I live on a tight budget. I knew that the old student loan had destroyed my credit history with a lot of help from me. I was feeling hopeless. I'm going to lose my job, I can't even look for another job without a way to get there, and how am I going to get my son when I have visitation? Well, I gave myself the old pity party for a few days and then remembered that a friend of mine had bought a really nice pickup. I knew that he was in the same credit score conundrum as I am and I asked him how he managed to do it. He said Indy Auto Man. I called some relatives and they gladly gave me a ride to check out what I was eligible for. (Probably because they didn't want to give me rides forever. Lol. Just kidding). Well when I arrived I noticed that the lot had many top models. Mercedes, BMW, Audi, etc... My hopes sank even lower. I'll never qualify for one of these! I have to say that I was never approached once on the lot by any salesman. I had plenty of time to look around with no high pressure sales pitch in my ear. As I checked out the inventory I set my sights on a couple of ones I liked. I walked inside and approached the first salesman I saw. He was a kind young man and he informed me that although he would love to sell me a car it was not his turn. I guess they have a rotation of some sort. I was approached shortly by a gentleman by the name of Burt. He asked how he may help me and we sat at his desk. I told him my situation and exactly what I was looking for. While my credit history was being ran, he offered to let me test drive a few of choices. He had told me of this Mercedes that is a 2008, but had less than 15,000 miles on it. I decided to drive it first. I was very I impressed with how it handled and the subtle power of the V6. I drove another car, a BMW 525. Total luxury, all the bells and whistles, and sure to put me to sleep at the wheel on a long travel night. Lol. In the end I decided on the Mercedes if I could get it financed. Burt checked with Dimitri to see if I would qualify and I have no words to say for how I felt when he told me that I did. My payment would be modest with a low interest rate and even a deluxe warranty. Hope had returned. Burt told me that it would be 15 minutes or so before I could leave with it and my relatives and I decided to get a bite to eat across the street. I hadn't even finished when Burt came up to our table and handed me the keys. He had delivered it to me personally. This is a great place with a wonderful staff. I would recommend it to anyone. More

Satisified with first time purchase I was looking for a very hard to find Volkswagen station wagon with AWD. There were only 8 in a nationwide search on Cars.com and the one from Indy Au I was looking for a very hard to find Volkswagen station wagon with AWD. There were only 8 in a nationwide search on Cars.com and the one from Indy Auto Man had the lowest miles. My first two calls were not returned after being shuffled off to a sales voice mail but it is summer and they may have been taking a few days off. My third call connected me with Christopher who was very friendly and accommodating. I live 600 miles away and knew the sale would be harder than usual so after a days worth of messaging and photos I decided to buy the car site unseen for asking price. I flew to Indianapolis and was picked up at the airport by Dmitry in the car I purchased. First impressions were good but we detected a problem either with the transmission or a miss fire in the engine. Dmitry had the car inspected immediately when we got to the dealer and the possible problem was found but the part could not be installed till the next day. The dealer paid for my motel that night and rented me a car to drive which I thought was way over expectation. The next day the part was installed but the problem was not solved. Eventually it was discovered to be a transmission issue. They offered to install used transmission (which they loosely referred to as new, shop lingo I guess) sent me home with the rental car paid for by the dealer. I returned a week later to pick up the repaired car. I think this was way beyond what most used car dealers would have done. They could have left me standing there that first afternoon with nothing and the likely outcome from most used car dealers. The entire time Christopher was keeping up on the progress and staying in touch either calling or messaging me. I did incur a few hundred dollars of additional expense but that was because of the distance and not really the dealers responsibility. The car only had one key so the dealer also offered to provide a second key, again way above most used car dealers. I am satisfied with the car and more than satisfied with the service and treatment from Indy Auto Man. I enjoy cars that are unique especially German cars and they have a large selection; in fact it appears to be there specialty. They would certainly be on my short list of places to look if I was in the market for another car and I would be calling Christopher. One area the dealer may want to work on is Dealer prep, they charge a $300 fee for this and I am not sure what it is suppose to cover beyond some clean up. I would hope that it covered a road test, fluid check, computer interrogation, recall notifications and a check of normal wear parts, after all they are charging you for this. After driving the car for a half hour I was suspicious of the tire pressure so stopped and bought a gage; 55, 65, 70 and 80 pounds is what I found. I would recommend a simple check sheet of things inspected, it would be a great sales tool and make the $300 more reasonable. More
