Replacing Takata airbags I was offered a loaner car. I only used it for the afternoon. Usually, when I go to Inver Grove Honda for service, I get a ride to my appointment ne I was offered a loaner car. I only used it for the afternoon. Usually, when I go to Inver Grove Honda for service, I get a ride to my appointment nearby. It was nice to have the car this day. My only issue was that when I called to see if I could have the airbags replaced, the person I spoke with said, "Oh, they didn't order the parts for you and you didn't get a call?" But when I spoke to my service agent the day I came in for my appointment he said, "We're only replacing the ones when people call or come in." He went on to explain that they had not received very many replacement parts yet. I happened to have a doctor's appointment in the area that day so I called to see if I could have the airbags replaced that day. Otherwise, I don't know when I would have been contacted regarding this recall. More

Had planed on having tires replaced but when it was learned there were further issues with the engine (too expensive to repair as the car is 14 years old...), called to ask if I still wanted to replace tires? Decided not to since it is unclear how long transmission will last. Other service centers, dealer or otherwise could have easily put tires on and not said anything, but these guys didn't. They have earned my trust. Not an easy task in the care repair service industry. More
