It is by far the best mini-van, of three, we've owned to date. It is good looking, well designed and surprisingly useful at a wide range of tasks: Around town, trips, with protective tarping, finding it also useful for a wide range of yard tasks including hauling mulch for landscaping and tree plantings. With the tarp installed in the back and the seats stored can fill the back safely with mulch, using four 5-gallon pails to hold up the corners of the tarp. Also using the same rigging, haul 39-gallon cans of yard waste to our county recycling yards. Found that filling it with Premium gas gave us a whole new van. This Odyssey has a five-speed transmission and three mode "eco" allowing the load sensing sub-system to run on three, four or all six of its 3.5 liter V-6. Only on Premium does it spend more time in the "eco" modes, which include the three and four cylinders running. John took a fair bit of time going through the van, going over the details of owning and operating it, answering each of our questions thoroughly and clearly. Never hesitated looking up answers that, though he didn't know immediately, knew who to go to in the dealership. The rest of the members of the dealership were like John, open, friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our time spent with them and recommend them to any who would like to shop for well designed, well made vehicles from a world class manufacturer. He didn't try to steer me down his path, but rather came along on the road I had to take to make my decision. His followup is excellent. If you're like me, you go into a car dealership expecting that you're going to have to lace up the boxing gloves or swing a tire iron to get out alive, but it's just not like that here. When it came to "closing/check writing time", Keith laid out all the protection package and warranty options - but didn't do the expected "over sell" job on me. There was just never an uncomfortable moment. Believe it or not, I would describe the experience with Jamie and the folks at Inver Grove Honda as fun.
