Inver Grove Toyota was great, and especially Darin. I was so delighted with my experience working with Darin Wald to find a vehicle. We had very specific wants and he did his best to comply in a courteous, honest and kind fashion. We purchased a new Toyota and drove off on April 30. Since then, I wrote to the General Manager (Mr. Fox) about my concerns and questions. The dealership has been most unprofessional, discourteous, and Since then, I wrote to the General Manager (Mr. Fox) about my concerns and questions. The dealership has been most unprofessional, discourteous, and unfriendly in that the General Manager of this dealership has not responded to my communication for nearly two months. Even the Toyota corporate office claims to have contacted the dealership at least twice, but the repeated reminders fell on the dealership's deaf ears. The only explanation for such behavior and attitude is as if Toyota has come to believe that their cars are in demand and so why bother? The dealership and Toyota are forgetting that the customers can make or break the sales if they don't care for them and are as unprofessional as Mr. Fox has been. A total lack of response is, at the least, highly irresponsible and reprehensible. It is also important to add that a flat fee of $275 is included in each transaction in the name of a document fee, but no explanation. One individual mentioned that it is mandated by MADA, while the other person said it is the DMV requiring the fee. The Minnesota Auto Dealers Association (MADA) has not responded to my communication either. It appears that the dealership is in cahoots with MADA to impose the $275 for providing the number plate,s which a buyer can easily obtain from DMV for $15.50. The unprofessional and deceptive conduct of the dealership and a total lack of response are unacceptable, perhaps never to return to this dealership and Toyota in general. More
