We went to many Lexus dealerships in both ME and NH and felt very pressured with the sales departments when searching for a pre-owned vehicle. Our overall experience with Steven Tam was very positive in that he was not ovewhelming with facts and details but rather answered questions that were proposed to him. He would often validate our feelings instead of trying to change our minds which I found to be very respectful as a conumer. Steven had great product knowledge and was able to provide us with whatever information that we requested (ie: car facts, etc). We had visted other dealerships and were familar with all the "bells and whistles" of the Lexus and again, Steven did not try to sell us on these features but rather stepped back and let us dialogue about our needs. In regards to the selling price, Steven was respectful and took our initial offer that was significantly low, to his General Manager for acceptance or refusal. He actually did this three to four times before we agreed to a price. We rated the price as GOOD because it was a bit higher than what we had wanted to pay initially but Steven did compensate us with new floor mats, cargo mat and net for the back, and body work repair to a scratch on the vehicle. Because Steven was willing to add these extras, a deal was made and we have no regrets. Thanks to Steven, our car shopping experience was a positive one! More
