Here is today's experience: I was mislead All of the bad jokes and anecdotes you've heard about dishonest car dealerships take flesh in this place. Here is today's experience: I was mislead and, in my belief, defrauded by the service associate who convinced me to purchase a wheel alignment and balance on my 2018 Toyota Corolla. I brought the vehicle in for standard 15,000 mile service which is included in my lease. The associate told me that they "recommend" cars receive an alignment and balance every year, and that I was six months overdue. This service cost $140. I told him that I was not experiencing any of the symptoms of a mis-aligned wheel and questioned the need for this (the car was also at only 13,000 miles) but he persisted, making me feel like I was irresponsible for not moving forward. Not surprisingly, the computer readout showed that the wheels were in almost perfect alignment with the exception of a small discrepancy in one tire -- hardly anything to warrant an expensive alignment. After the fact, after I did some research and found that wheel alignments are recommended every 2-3 years or when symptoms present -- not every year as the technician falsely indicated. I called the service manager to express my disappointment in feeling duped, and he was cold and unsympathetic, saying that I had "authorized" the service and they had performed it. Massachusetts Motor Vehicle Regulations 940 CMR 5.00 states that "It is an unfair or deceptive act or practice for a repair shop to make or authorize to be made in any manner or by any means a statement which it knows to be or, in the exercise of reasonable care, should know to be untrue or misleading including, without limitation, the following types of statements: (a) That repairs are necessary or desirable when such is not a fact." I believe that is exactly what happened in this instance. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and will be following up with Toyota corporate offices. Other experiences I've had at Ira include: -- a service technician having an accident in my vehicle while performing an oil change because he was driving recklessly around the garage -- a service technician failing to replace the cap on a part that was serviced triggering a "Check Engine" light and another trip to the service department. -- overheard misogynistic remarks between male associates -- salesmen playing basketball in the showroom and bouncing the ball off new vehicles You would do well to find an honest mechanic in your neighborhood, or another Toyota dealership that deals honestly with customers. A few days later, I went back and met salesman Aiman Varoqua. He didn't fool around. No double-talk. Sold me the car I wanted with no hassles. Last month, when we needed another new car, I went right back to Aiman and he sold me a new Prius Prime. It took less than an hour. In fact, he gave me the key and I drove it home that morning, before I'd even paid for it! Definitely, this is the man you want to see. He gets right to the point. More

This time I was just me, I walked in there knowing I wanted to lease a new car, but with little hope that it would be possible as I’m starting my credit so it’s very low. Aiman not only facilitated every step of the way but he also went above and beyond involving management going through ever channel to get my financial application approved ! I cannot express enough how great it feels to walk into a car dealership where most salesmen are sharks and instead to find someone who genuinely cares for you and your needs! Awful Experience. Buyer Beware The first time I visited the IRA Pre owned Toyota dealership in Danvers with my mother, we were immediately attacked by sales men the second we steppe The first time I visited the IRA Pre owned Toyota dealership in Danvers with my mother, we were immediately attacked by sales men the second we stepped in the door. Rich Morgan ended up being our sales person, unforutanetly. I had my eye on the pre owned Toyota RAV4 in white. We saw the car, looked around at it and left. I would have never left my phone number had I known that Rich Morgan would be calling me almost on a DAILY basis. I decided to email him a list of questions I had about the car. He did not answer my email for 6 days (what great customer service), so I resent the email. The next day or two he called me again and I told him to answer my email, which he finally did. This way I could have all the answers to my questions in writing for the future. He called me a few days later informing me that they had a RAV4 in white, LE model and my mother and I drove over to look at it. Not only we were attacked by sales men again, but this time it happened the minute we stepped out of the car, rather than stepping foot in the dealership. I had known going into the dealership that night that this car had damages listed on it (front right and roof) on car fax and I wanted to find out what the damage was. Of course all the sales guy sitting behind the long desk did not know what the damage was, but assured me that the damage was probably nothing. I had lost interest in the car after not knowing what the damage was but they still pulled the car out front and we checked it out. After looking at the car, Rich Morgan decided to bring ANOTHER sales guy out to try and sweet talk us into buying the car and again assuring us that the listed damage is probably nothing. After being hounded by sales men, Rich Morgan insulting my mother, playing stupid games, acting condescending and sexist, we could not run out of this dealership fast enough. Do yourself a favor and stay away. More

He explained the features of different models extremely clearly and helped us to understand which model fits best with our family.
