HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE I currently have a lease from this dealership. I went in today 2/15/2016 to hopefully do an early return and get another vehicle from the same dealers I currently have a lease from this dealership. I went in today 2/15/2016 to hopefully do an early return and get another vehicle from the same dealership, but I spent over 45 minutes and not one person even attempted to speak to me, not even to apologize that they were clearly short staffed and would be with me as soon as possible. I am only speaking on behalf of myself, there were others there probably longer than I. I refuse to be somewhere with thousands of dollars in my hand I was ready to use on a new Chrysler 200, and not even be spoken to, or even attempted to speak to me. Staten Island has the worst reputation for car dealerships, this was my last attempt to give a shot to one last SI dealership, and I was appalled at the treatment or lack there of to a customer willing to spend thousands of dollars willingly. I regret wasting my time and will never attempt to do business with this dealership ever again. Horrible business practice and for a major holiday such as presidents day knowing people come out to purchase vehicles, you would think they would be equipped with the proper amount of staff, which they were no where close. It was a huge waste of time and I regret ever doing business with them in the first place. Rest assured, I will never attempt to do business with them EVER again. As I entered, I was immediately greeted by Joe Skynosky and his uplifting mood. Joe made us comfortable throughout the whole transaction, working with us on number crunching and keeping everything from dragging on for too long. I knew what car I wanted and he knew to keep me in the right path during my visit. The whole process was easy and quick. Joe made sure we got the best price possible for one of the highest selling cars (2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee High Altitude). Working with Joe I felt no pressure as you normally would at dealerships and for that I thank you very much. As dealerships go, there are many options and many locations that sell the same type of car at different prices. Joe is the reason we decided to stick with Island jeep and not go anywhere else. highly recommended to anyone going to this dealership to ask for Joe Synosky and you will not be disappointed. Once the initial process with Joe was completed we were set on finishing up the financing section of our car buying process. We worked with John Bonamo financial manager. This process was equally as smooth as the initial process. John made sure we got the best rates even with my credit and having a co-signer. John provided a painless process to complete everything and kept us comfortable. During the financial visit usually you are pressured into buying all sorts of packages with the car for maintenance etc. John pressured us in no way and made sure I was paying for what I wanted and kept within my budget. John also offered me to come back in future and talk about adding plans if I changed my mind but in no way pressured me into anything. On behalf of my family and I, we thank Joe Skynosky and John Bonamo for the great customer service provided and making my car buying experience great and hassle free. Island Jeep is by far better run than Manfredi, so don't judge them based on the old dealership!! More
