My experience with Darryl Smith has always been very positive. He is professional and knowledgeable. I trust his judgement and know when I leave my car with him the job will be done correctly. The sales staff at JC Lewis Ford is most knowledgeable and very friendly. All of my inquiries were quickly and correctly answered, and any information that would be helpful to me was also quickly provide and very friendly. Worst attempted car buying experience ever! While I was waiting on his phone call back I did the pre-approval through my credit union and they sent my information to the dealership. I received a phone call from a different sales person Emily who had gotten my info from the credit union. She went to find out the same information I asked John. After 24 hours from my initial contact I finally got my questions answered and asked for a price quote from Emily. The quote I received was wrong with additional charges added, upping the price. I contacted Emily to get the price quote corrected to send to my credit union at around 1 pm. I was assured it would be fixed and sent to me. I didn't receive a response from that point on. I called numerous times and just received voice mails. I even had my son go by the dealership since he stills lives there and look at the car and to tell them to give me a call, to no avail. I made a final call at closing time and talked to a Mike who worked in new cars and was told to just drive down and they should fix everything while you are on the way. I declined and asked for him to have a manager call me first thing in the morning since one was not available. So on the third day of trying to buy this car from them I call again 30 minutes after they open and finally get to talk to a manager, Jim, since I was getting all of the run around who tells me the car was just sold last night, but wait he has a more expensive one with less options and more miles available. I made a scheduled appoint for the Ford "Works Package" and a down load of the computer for any codes. Chase Roble did an excellent job of getting my vehicle completed and I was out the door in a Package" and a down load of the computer for any codes. What a great experience! My wife was scheduled to work in Savannah over the Valentine weekend and I was fortunate to tag along. While she was working I had some spare time so decided to look around for a new Savannah over the Valentine weekend and I was fortunate to tag along. While she was working I had some spare time so decided to look around for a new vehicle for her. We had been casually looking for sometime but just had not decided on the right vehicle. When I stopped in to JC Lewis Ford and began looking I sat down the first day with a salesperson but could not find the vehicle but made an appointment to come back with my wife the next day. We were greeted the next day by Larry Morse who set down with us to get an idea of the requirements we needed in a vehicle. After gathering all the info and our price limit he went to work to find the vehicle. He not only found the vehicle but went and picked it up at another dealership (a three hour trip) and took the time to set up the mysync and explain to my wife how everthing worked. Larry made the deal work with our trade in and got the price we had planned on. He was easy going and treated my wife with respect which we had not experienced at other dealers. Larry B made the paper work go as quickly and smoothly as possible explaining all the details. I would recommend if you are looking for a new vehicle it's worth traveling a few hours south to JC Lewis Ford to find a pleasant buying experience. More
