I took my car in for service. I was told I had to leave it. They didn't called me. So I called them 2 days later. My service personnel (Ashley) was not available, so I left a voi I was told I had to leave it. They didn't called me. So I called them 2 days later. My service personnel (Ashley) was not available, so I left a voice mail voice. I called every day for a week to speak with someone. I was finally told she was on vacation. I decided after a week to go see what was going on. Ashley show up to give me a price of the repairs. There were no apologies from Ashley. Just saying I was on vacation. So, JC Lewis stop service if someone goes on vacation. Someone should have called me back with status of my car. Very poor service. I brought 4 cars from this place. I will ne ver buy another car from them again. More
I WOULD LIKE TO SPECIFY IN THIS REVIEW THAT ALL PARTIES TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE WERE MORE THAN PROFESSIONAL AND TREATED ME LIKE PART OF THEIR TEAM. I JUST PURCHASED A 2020 EXPLORER FROM THE POOLER TO INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING PEOPLE WERE MORE THAN PROFESSIONAL AND TREATED ME LIKE PART OF THEIR TEAM. I JUST PURCHASED A 2020 EXPLORER FROM THE POOLER STORE FROM MEGAN O'RIELY AND I CONTACTED HER TO LET HER KNOW THAT I FOUND A OIL LEAK COMING FROM MY REAR AXEL AND 2 OF THE TIRES ON THE CAR WERE WARPED AND THE TIRES WERE SEPARATING AFTER ONLY 3 WEEKS OF HAVING THE VEHICLE. SHE IMMEDIATELY TOOK ACTION AND GOT ME IN TOUCH WITH PATRICK KENNEDY WHO WELCOMED ME TO THE SAVANNAH STORE AND THEN TOOK ME STRAIGHT TO THE SERVICE TEAM AND HAD ME CHECKED IN AND SET UP WITH THE LOANER. I WAS THEN INTRODUCED TO JOHN GOTTLIEB WHO DID THE WALK THROUGH AND GAVE ME GREAT AND PROFESSIONAL SERVICE. THIS IS WHY I AM GIVING THIS REVIEW 5 STARS. THEY FIXED MY OIL LEAK AND PUT TWO NEW TIRES ON THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE AND DIDN'T EVEN CHARGE ME THE DEDUCTIBLE, AND COVERED IT ALL UNDER THE BLUE CERTIFIED WARRANTY. MY ONLY ISSUE IS I WAITED A WHOLE WEEK TO GET THIS CAR DELIVERED TO ME, DUE TO BACK ORDERED WINDOW AND I FEEL THESE ISSUES SHOULD HAVE BEEN CAUGHT DURING THE INITIAL INSPECTION OF THE CAR AS THIS WAS SOLD AS A FORD BLUE CERTIFIED USED VEHICLE AND I AM SURE THERE IS SUPPOSED TO BE SOME TYPE OF (100 POINT INSPECTION PROCESS) DONE BEFORE SELLING THE VEHICLE. THIS REALLY MADE THE VACATION WE PLANNED VERY UNSETTLING SINCE WE FOUND THESE ISSUES RIGHT BEFORE OUR TRIP AND WE DECIDED ON THE EXPLORER TO HAVE ROOM TO TRAVEL IN AND HAD TO SETTLE FOR A MAVERICK WHICH I WAS TOLD THAT WAS ALL THEY HAD AND I UNDERSTAND, HOWEVER I JUST WANTED TO POINT OUT THE ISSUES THIS CAUSED TO EMPHASIZE THE SMALL THINGS THAT COULD HELP MAKE YOUR TEAM BETTER. I'll be going back again to JC Lewis for Sales and Service needs, not because they re always perfect, but because of how they responded when they didn't get it right the first time. I have to get special credit to Jeana, who not only sold us a new truck (which was a very good experience), but also paid attention when our service experience on another Ford F-150 was less than ideal. I'll also give kudos to a service department that takes ownership when they get it wrong and make no excuses. Back to Jeana... I appreciate that she took the initiative to reach out and make sure we were left feeling good about our overall experience, which went far beyond what she had to do in just selling us a truck. Integrity matters, and I experienced that first hand with her. More
I’m extremely disappointed with the service at J. C. Lewis Ford. I brought my $80,000 Ford F-150 in because it has a rough idle between 650 and 700 RPMs, and the service advisors dismissed it, saying, C. Lewis Ford. It’s a shame that I get far better treatment from foreign car companies. My daughter has a Mini Coupe, and the service she gets is superior. Meanwhile, I can’t even get halfway decent service from an American-made Ford dealer. This is exactly what’s going wrong with businesses in this country. If Ford wants loyal customers, they need to step up and take care of them instead of brushing them off. More
