I had trouble getting my loan through so it took more time than their business hours, and David waited for me until everything was cleared. I was skeptical and took the car to another mechanic who said there was no evidence of any leak. The other mechanic also cleaned and lubricated my rear calipers for $40 versus the $180 + tax quoted by Freed. This is particularly disheartening since I have been bringing my cars in for service for 20 years! More

J.L. Greed Honda After being a loyal Honda customer for years, I can say I will never buy Honda ever again. I was driving an hour to and from this dealership, spending After being a loyal Honda customer for years, I can say I will never buy Honda ever again. I was driving an hour to and from this dealership, spending tons of money in gas in order to get good service, and this is what I get instead. - When I brought my vehicle in about 2 years ago for a misfiring engine they informed me of an issue or "recall" with my engine (there was a lawsuit about the V6 engines being defective with how they process oil in accords among other models) and therefore the major engine repair that would have costed me $3,000 was covered completely. Fast forward to present day, and I have to bring the vehicle in for the SAME ISSUE. I was told this time around, that unfortunately the warranty for this repair expired 6 months prior and is no longer covered. I surely thought it would be since they acknowledged it was the SAME defective engine issue. In addition, the parts that they replaced in my vehicle were only a mere 1 to 2 years old. Cylinders, piston rings, gasket heads, and major engine parts do NOT go bad over this short period of time. I was also told ALL the parts they replaced for me previously were no longer warrantied. ENGINE parts are only covered 1 YEAR????? I fought with corporate Honda and the dealership for quite some time for help, to no avail. I even tried to reach out to the manager who never returned one of my calls. They refused to help me in the slightest. I was even told by a Honda representative that my car was a LEMON. A full time school student doesn't have 3k lying around, so with the help of my family I was able to repair my vehicle. They replaced all the SAME parts as before- cylinders 1-4, piston rings, spark plus, gasket head etc. I get my vehicle back and not even ONE day later, my engine light is back on. I bring it back and they tell me that it's now my catalytic converter that needs to be replaced. So I replace the cat. A week later, my engine light is back on. I call back infuriated. I need to get my car FIXED and FOR GOOD. (Mind you this is well over a month long process, I missed so much work and spent so much time driving back and forth to this place). When I called I was told by Chris that he did not have any loaner vehicles available for me until the following week and that I had a balance of $25 due to a tank of gas from a previous loaner vehicle. ARE YOU KIDDING????? I spent thousands of dollars repairing my vehicle with your dealership, and drove back and forth probably about 8-10 times and you are going to refuse to schedule me over $25??????? I was in utter disbelief at this point. They clearly did not want my business and acted as if they were just tired of dealing with me. I told Chris that if he was truly going to haggle with me over $25 that I would take my service elsewhere since they clearly could not even fix my vehicle in the first place. I will never step foot in this establishment ever again or buy from Honda ever again. I had always heard great things about this dealership but once I experienced it for myself, I realized that the staff there truly do not care about their customers at all. They are just trying to make their money and go home. In regards to Honda as a company, I am in disbelief that as a company you do not recall half - (if not more) of your vehicles. They settled on this lawsuit to AVOID the lemon law and protect themselves and ended up screwing millions of people in the process. The warranty for this type of problem should not last 8 years, but for the lifetime of the vehicle since you acknowledged IT IS A DEFECTIVE ENGINE. I will try my best to get rid of this car so I do not spend the rest of my time dumping money into a car that is a LEMON and will never TRULY be fixed. When I go online and read about how many people have the same problem as me and aren't educated on this issue, it makes me sad to think about how many Honda dealerships are taking advantage of this and profiting off of it. More
