Not terrible, but not impressed. Throughout my experience with the body shop and service department recently, I could tell communication was not a strong point. Some employees were very friendly to me, while others didn’t even look up from their task to acknowledge a customer standing in front of them. A part was ordered for my car and we never received a call saying the part was in and to schedule service. When I called to find out if it was in, no one could find my order at first, I got transferred so many times, no one seemed to know if it was through the body shop or service department. I was told the service would take an hour so I decided to wait with my two year old, instead it took over 2 hours. When I went to see how much longer, they didn’t know where my car was, and apparently it had been done for who knows how long but they weren’t informed. I understand when businesses are short handed and juggling a lot at one time. I have worked in customer service long enough to know the reality of these things. But, I will offer some suggestions. Improve communication between staff. People shouldn’t look clueless in front of a customer, so give an information “handoff” so the next employee to handle the situation can be professional. Give customers a heads up if the repair will take much longer than expected. They may need to change the rest of their day around (kids may need to be picked up, other appointments changed, etc) And acknowledging or apologizing for the delay shows that you are respecting their time, even when you are short handed. And ALWAYS acknowledge the customer standing in front of you no matter how busy you are with your task or phone call. You can look up, smile, and say I’ll be with your shortly. These things make a big difference in the customer experience and no matter how good your car repair is, the customer service will make or break your customer relationship. It will determine who comes back, and the level of reviews that are given to others about your business. More

A Dream Come True ! I went into JLFreed thinking there was no way to get what I really wanted at a price I could accept but wanted to explore my options. Much to my surp I went into JLFreed thinking there was no way to get what I really wanted at a price I could accept but wanted to explore my options. Much to my surprise they not only had the HRV I wanted for its size, higher seats and AWD. They also had the color I wanted and arranged payments I can handle !!! Reasonably priced! I always take my 2012 CR-V to Freed for oil changes and service. The staff is very friendly and always willing to help or answer questions. More
