I had been in the market for a new car. I purchased a 2009 250is. I paid the right price, and the car is awsome. I had a small problem with a cosmetic part, and the dealership fixed it in a very timely manner. (Alan Webster was on top of his game) I love the car and the excellent service I have received from the dealership. I went in today not absolutely sure that I would leave with a car worth the price or that I would even leave with a car at all. I have purchased an Infinity and several Lexus’ in the past. I was met by a very nice salesman on my first visit to Infinity of Coconut Creek. I found a 2006 pre-owned model that I thought would be nice f past. I was met by a very nice salesman on my first visit to Infinity of Coconut Creek. I found a 2006 pre-owned model that I thought would be nice for my son. The salesman brought over the Sales Manager, Randy Zgremski. Mr. Zgremski asked me the price range I was looking for and then took out a blank sheet of paper. He wrote a price and a +++ next to it. He also added an x, where he noted I should sign in agreement. It was my understanding that what I was signing was a final price plus tax, tag and title fees. We agreed to this. I was sold a prepaid maintenance coupon book with my previous Infinity purchase which contained a coupon for $999.00 off of my next Infinity purchase. Since I knew I would be in the market for a car for my son in the near future, this coupon in particular was a strong part of my decision to go with Infinity. When given this book, I discussed the policy with the salesman and I was told that this coupon should be handed to the dealer after the final price is negotiated. That is exactly what I did. The General Manager of Infinity of Coconut Creek, Ed Mellul, then came over to speak with us. He said that Infinity of Coconut Creek couldn’t honor that coupon because they were already “all in”. Trying to work with him, and since they had given us a good deal, my wife offered to split the difference, so the coupon would now only be worth $499.50. Ed said $400.00, and we said OK. My son was obviously very excited about the car and we didn’t want to let him down. But then Ed said, By the way, there is also an $899.00 dealer prep fee. So, now we are being asked to pay $600.00 more than expected plus $899.00 more for dealer prep, which is a term I am still not sure I fully understand. We got up, thanked the Infinity of Coconut Creek staff and walked out. My son was devastated, but I explained to him that this was a good lesson in honest and dishonest business, and in the importance of walking away from a business deal that is tainted and not trustworthy. I tried to remedy the situation by putting a call in to the owner of Infinity of Coconut Creek, Billy Pierce, and requesting to return the coupon book, but my call was returned by the General Manager, Ed Mullel, and he informed me that all decisions at the dealership ended with him and he stood behind his deal. We felt that the sales practices at Infinity of Coconut Creek were deceptive and sketchy. We will never purchase a car from Infinity of Coconut Creek. Since we were out, we went right next door to JM Lexus. We didn’t realize that they closed at 6:00 PM, and it was close to 6:30 at this point. As we were turning to leave, a JM Lexus Sales Consultant, Steven Finnegan, came out and asked if we needed any help. We told him that we understood that they were closed and we could come back the next day, but he said it would be fine to stay. He showed us some pre-owned cars, including a VW Jetta, which my son loved. We test drove the car and worked out the numbers and Steven Finnegan sold us the car. It was that simple! When we got home, my wife started searching the internet to make sure we got a good deal, and she happened to find the exact car we had purchased on one of the websites and it was listed for about $350.00 less than we had paid. I called Steven the next morning to explain what had happened and within 3 minutes he called me back and offered to reduce the price by $500.00. Later that week, the tire indicator light came on and I called Steven again. Not only did he offer for me to immediately bring the car in for them to look at, but he actually took the car for the day, brought it to the local VW dealer to be fixed and just called when it was ready to be picked up. It has been such a pleasure to work with JM Lexus and Steven Finnegan. I explained to my son that, unfortunately, he shouldn’t expect to deal with salespeople as courteous and as honest as JM Lexus’ Steven Finnegan. It is more often than not in this world that salespeople try to cheat you out of a good deal in one way or another. Steven Finnegan is the exception to this rule. I look forward to referring my friends and family to Steven Finnegan and JM Lexus for their future auto purchases. More

For awhile I had been interested in buying a CPO Lexus IS250 and the first time I attempted to buy one was with Lexus of West Kendall where I had a terrible experience. So when I finally had to buy a new car I reconsidered getting a Lexus but at a different dealership hoping for better customer service and that's exactly what I received at JM Lexus. I was treated with respect, great service and overall a wonderful experience. Plus the condition of the car I bought was over the top ... it looked like a brand new car. More

I bought my first Lexus from this dealer- great experience. Two years later I decided to trade for another one. Contacted sales via internet to start setting up a transaction on a 2010 RX 350. I already had a price in hand from my local guy and I had told him up front I would prefer to buy from JM Lexus. The internet guy came in with a price two thousand above my local dealer. I told him I was very surprised (all communication via email) and I already had a better deal in place. The guy shot off an amazingly rude email accusing me of withholding information from him (like the fact I was shopping around for a decent deal...duh). I told him I was not playing games but I expected a better price from the world's largest Lexus dealership. He actually replied using profanity saying he wasn't playing any #$%@# games (showing he did not even read my email as I wasn't accusing HIM of playing games. I told him I was done communicating with him and called the dealership. Talked to the Sales Manager that had just read the email exchange. This guy doesn't even apologize for the behaviour of his sales guy but offers to "sell me a car at a good price if I want to stop by the dealership". So much for the legendary customer service at JM Lexus. I happily leased a RX350 from my local guy after this idiotic episode. Very sad too because up to this point I had bragged to so many people about how awesome this dealership was and how great their customer service had been. And I was a loyal customer too- bringing my IS 350 600 miles just to let them service it. For the record I still can't say anything bad about their service department- great guys one and all. But their sales team really dropped the ball with me and I have to let folks know that. More

Hands down, the best car buying experience I have had. Chris was upfront, no bull, and told you exactly what was what which is what you need in a sales person. I originally called regarding a preowned IS250 and was fortunate to get Chris Ferrell to assist me. I set an appointment to come in for a test drive but was delayed due to family circumstances. When I arrived Chris was with another customer and was with us in a short while. He was definitely worth waiting for. After the test drive he could see I was physically not comfortable (not built like a Japanese person). He suggested we try a new, larger ISC. It was defintely more comfortable but didn't have the sport drivablity I was looking for which the IS250 has. Chris was attentive to MY needs and never tried to "push" me, which I appreciate so much. I have been buying cars since 1970 and by far this was the BEST experience I've had. It is refreshing to have a salesperson give you the information, give you his/her honest opinion and then allow you to make the buying decision. Because of Chris Ferrell's attention, honesty and terrific personality I wish I liked the Lexus product more. Although I did not work with anyone else at JM Lexus, I feel certain that anyone would be treated as well whether in sales or service because of my experience with Mr. Ferrell. More

As someone that dislikes car shopping, I had the best experience in dealing with Steve Finnegan. Steve was very professional and did what he said he was going to do.
