I felt the service was good and the sales people were not high pressure at all; which was nice! I was allowed to test drive the car as long as I wanted to. My sales representative was also friendly, down-to- high pressure at all; which was nice! I was allowed to test drive the car as long as I wanted to. My only complaints are that the car was given to me dirty(inside) and I was not given accurate information, in regards to how many cd's my vehicle could hold. I would still recommend this dealership to others, as well as my salesman. Overall, I give them a Good instead of Great because of these discrepancies. More

I would never recomend this dealership. I went there to have my seats clean and a special treatment put on the seat. I paid for this warranty add on. Not only did it make my seats look worse (bringing up d have my seats clean and a special treatment put on the seat. I paid for this warranty add on. Not only did it make my seats look worse (bringing up deep stains). The dealership had to call in a specialist with a fancy piece of equipment to clean the seats. When we went to pick up the jeep, my driver seat was cut in 2 places...nobody called me, nobody cared. I had to make a scene and call corporate to get someone to care. Allen is a jerk...so rude, and lacks compassionate, and a liar. Don't trust anything he says...he does not follow through. Finally, the service manager looked at my seat. Told me that I should not have been sold the add on warranty because that chemical can not be put on my special addition seats. As for the cuts, they order them in early December...it is now January 26th....I am still waiting on this seat. More
I researched Jeep Wranglers for 6 months trying to find a used one for my Daughter that just got her license. I even had a friend that buys vehicles wholesale looking for me. We decided that with prices being bid up for used I would be better off buying a new one. I looked all over the southeast pricing a 4 door hard top white Wrangler unlimited. I went buy every dealer in the Columbia area to find the options that my daughter liked. I visited JTs in Lexington 3 times, the first after ours with no salesman around. The second time right before Christmas and spoke with Kurk Mathews. He was very patient and no pressure. He showed us every Jeep they had. I told him I would be in touch. I spoke to 3 dealers in North Carolina and had my search down to 2 white Jeeps and I was going to buy 1 of them on December 28. I made a final trip to JTs on Friday 12/27/13 with my internet out the door price on a sheet of paper. The sales manager handed me off to Mack Jacobs. We looked at the white jeeps they had and he showed me one more that they had just got in from another dealers inventory. It had more options than the vehicle I was going to buy in North Carolina. We test drove, even though I had driven 10 already then it was time for the part I HATE. The sales pressure. To my surprise Mack wrote a number on sheet of paper and I countered with a lower number than I was buying in North Carolina and he came back in 5 minutes and said OK. I SAID TAX TAG AND FEE OUT THE DOOR AND HE SAID YES. This was the easiest experience I have ever had in buying a vehicle. We picked it up the next day with it detailed and a bow. They were great. I loved how he gave me a so much information about my Jeep. I knew more about my new choice of vehicle than I ever did before. He was funny and really could tell how knowledgeable he was about the product he was selling..I never felt rushed or pressured to make a choice and Mack wouldn't let me leave unless I was 100% happy with my purchase. ...I will tell all my family and friends to go to JT's in Lexington and most of all go see MACK JACOBS!!!!!! This dealership happened to have a used car that I was interested in so I paid a visit, took a test drive and came back to begin the horrible process of negotiating. Well almost four hours later we agreed on a price for the car and the value of my trade. If you don't mind the usual pressure sales tactics and BS that goes along with it then you will do well here. Just keep saying no until they stop making offers and you will get a good price. My BIG problem was when I got home one of the two keys didn't work. When I called the salesman right away he never called me back until I called again and spoke with someone else about it. When the salesman finally called me back he said it was probably needing to be re-programmed but no problem come back and he will handle it. When I got back all of a sudden they wanted to charge me $50 for reprogramming. After I complained to them about I should have been given two working keys when I purchased the vehicle he started complaining to me about the "beating" they took on the sale of the vehicle and made no profit but they would be willing to go half with me and only charge me $25. I was tired of the BS and told the salesman fine if you're willing to risk my repeat business over $25 then go ahead I will pay it. Well guess what? The key is bad and now they want to charge me $250 for a new one. When the salesman refused to help anymore I went to his sales managers office and started to speak very loudly in front of other customers about how they were screwing me over this key another manager came over and told him to take care of it. The sales manager then walked to the service department with me and gave his authorization for them replacing my key to quiet me down. The key they gave me was "used" and not new which all I cared about was having two sets of keys. I probably rated this dealership better than they deserved but I WILL NOT purchase from here again. All over a stupid key. More
