Austin approached me as I was looking at a vehicle. He was very friendly and he quickly retreived the keys and tag for a test drive. He was very personnable as well. My current loan was upside down and Austin informed me that with a newer model of the same vehicle he would be able to apply some dealer rebates that would make it possible to be approved and get the payments that I needed. He kept me informed as he went about to talk to the necessary people. I was offered drink while I waited and he talked with my son about fishing and other things. I went to financing where I spent just a few minutes signing the papers. Austin went out and helped us clean out the old vehicle and move the tags to the new car. I drove it home and Austin called several times after the purchase to make sure I was happy with the vehicle. I have been in for the first of my free oil changes and the service was great. Everyone was nice and they were finished when they said they would be. Very good experience and I would recommend Mike Addy Dodge to my friends and family. More

Buying a vechile is a stressful experince for me and at Mike Addy it was alot less stressful. Everyone that we dealt with answered all questions that we had and was willing to fix anything that we had conc Mike Addy it was alot less stressful. I took a 27,000 mile car to them to be checked out, They gave me a list or items that needed repair, 1. motor mounts 2. 4 o2 sensors 3. brakes 4. cruise control 5. Rear defrost. We aproved the work, then thought about and called back 20min later and told them we wanted a second place to look at it. They made us pay $350 tell us they started work on it. We went to leave and the power steering was not working. We asked them what happened and they said the did not touch it. We then took it to Galeana, they said there was nothing wrong with the motor mounts, or the brakes or the cruise control, and only one o2 sensor was bad. They also said there was metal shavings in the power steering. Strange how it goes in fine and comes out with metal shavings in it and not working at all, Why did they not notice this? maybe they had something to do with that metal getting in there. They were very rude and uncareing people from the service mgr to Mike Addy Himself. Galeana was very professional and caring and took care of us very well. BEWARE OF MIKE ADDY. More

As you may recall there was quite a bit of work that needed to be done to my truck. And, in deciding that it was time to take the vehicle to ‘the shop’, I was a little apprehensive that the process would become much more than frustrating. You should take comfort in knowing that your Service Advisor Justin Cardwell did an outstanding job! He insured that the needed repairs/service were done, were done in a quality manner to my satisfaction and that I was kept up-to-date on the progress/expense. And he did it with a great, serving attitude that has seemingly become rare in the marketplace. However! As many accolades as I would like to heap upon Justin and your mechanics (and they deserve each one of them and more), I absolutely cannot say enough about Gina Myers; If there is any way to be “more awesome than AWESOME”, she is certainly that. Gina really started the entire experience off on the right foot, and it was absolutely my pleasure to have her arrange the service appointment for me. Chase, it is a testiment to you and the leadership group of Mike Addy Auto that you have put together in your shop such an outstanding group of service providers. As you know, ‘service’ is much more than an oil-change or a tune-up…it’s about expressing a pride in your craft and an attitude of humbly serving those who depend upon you. I have been shopping for a 2009-2010 truck for a considerable amount of time and went to Mike Addy to look at a truck I had seen online. The price was a bit more than I wanted to pay, but I went to considerable amount of time and went to Mike Addy to look at a truck I had seen online. The price was a bit more than I wanted to pay, but I went to look anyway and hoped to negotiate a bit. The salesperson, Rhett, was cordial and I had no issues with him. The problem came when I spoke to the manager, who was unwilling to negotiate with me whatsoever and was extremely rude to me when I tried. I felt that I was being held in the dealership, as it took an excessively long time to get pricing back. I explained that I needed to leave for other appointments I needed to go to, but if they would call me with their final price, that would be great and we could go from there. The manager returned to the sales desk and slammed the paper on the desk and said that they "don't call people" and the price I was given (which was full sticker price) was the only price they would accept and that I could call them when I was ready to accept their deal. I understand if dealerships are cutting it close on a deal and cannot negotiate much- that's not a problem, but there's no reason to be rude. I really just had somewhere else to go. I would never even look at another car here, let alone buy one. More

My husband and I have been searching for a used car, more specifically a Jeep Cherokee, for some time now. We needed the second vehicle because my husband has a job 45 minutes away and I am currently 9 mon specifically a Jeep Cherokee, for some time now. We needed the second vehicle because my husband has a job 45 minutes away and I am currently 9 months pregnant, due in 12 days, with our first child. We had been searching at all of our local dealerships as well as on Craigslist and on Ebay. My husband located a Jeep Cherokee on Ebay that we were very interested in, and since there was a phone number to reach a sales person, we called him to inquire about the car directly opposed to just bidding blindly. The salesman, Lloyd, told my husband over the phone that the car was misadvertised on Ebay and was being pulled off due to some cosmetic problems that weren’t advertised and that it was to be sold at auction. My husband, who was still interested in the vehicle, asked what price the dealership would be willing to take for the car, out the door, as long as the problems were strictly cosmetic. Lloyd told us at this point $3200 and my husband told him that since they were closed on Sunday, we were going to come up on Monday as soon as he got off work, and would be ready to test drive and sign papers- we would have cash in hand. After this conversation, my father who lives and works less than 5 minutes from Mike Addy Harbor Dodge, Jeep and Chrysler, and who owned a car dealership for many years and worked in all areas of the dealership, went to look at the car. He called and told us that although he hadn’t been able to drive it due to the dealership being closed, that the car was well worth our 3 hour drive the next day to see it and that he felt that it would be a great purchase. At that point we called Lloyd back and told him that we wanted the car and would be there on Monday by 5pm (my husband having to work and then both of us having to drive to the location, which was 3 hours away). We were very adamant that we wanted the car and that we had all intentions to buy the car and that we would have cash for them in full. On Monday I personally called Lloyd to make sure the deal was still on. I called him at 1 pm and reconfirmed the out the door price on the vehicle, which had now gone up to $3528. Although not what we had been expecting to pay we were still fully willing to buy the car and told Lloyd that we would be in Lexington to make the deal at 5 pm. At 2pm, while on my way to pick up my husband from work, I received a phone call from Lloyd informing me that the car had been sold. I was devastated. I could not believe that a car that we had thought was ours and had expressed our willingness to buy IN CASH was just gone. I got to my husband’s work at 3pm and told him what had happened. He was irate. He immediately called the dealership and asked to speak with Lloyd who was not available, so he asked to talk with a manager. The manager, Lonnie, told my husband that since we hadn’t put a deposit down there was nothing he or we could do to remedy this situation. My husband then informed Lonnie that if we had been told about a deposit we would have placed it but it hadn’t been mentioned and that we had been assured that the car was ours. My husband even went as far to tell the manager that if we had known that the car wasn’t being held for us and there had been any chance of it being sold before we had gotten there that we would have bought it over the phone, in full. Lonnie told him that we could have just bought it on Ebay and avoided all of this, but my husband then responded with what Lonnie had told us the day before about the cosmetic problems and the fact that it was being taken off of Ebay completely. We weren’t willing to pay the Ebay price of $6000 for a car that was falsely advertised but were very willing to pay the $3500 for it. The manager went on to say that the person that bought the car paid more than we were quoted, which A. should not matter in the grand scheme of things after arranging for us to come buy the car and B. is bad business if true, jacking up prices willy nilly, there should be one price not one price for this customer and another for this one. The manager didn’t really seem concerned about this bad business at all until my husband informed him that we would be contacting the owner of the dealership as well as the better business bureau about the whole situation. At that point, the manager tried offering us a deal on service at the dealership but since the dealership is 3 hours from our home seemed to be a silly remedy. He then told us that if we didn’t go through with contacting the BBB and the owner of the dealership he would search out the car we wanted from another buyer and/or dealership and give us the same price that we had agreed to pay, even if he had to take a loss on the car. Although my husband and I don’t want to cause anyone to lose money on a deal, we felt this was a very fair deal to make with the manager considering what they had put us through at this point. The manager then told us that he would call us before the close of business that night with an update of what he had found, and that was the last we heard from him. We have now waited a full 24 hours for a phone call from this manager and have heard absolutely nothing. We want what we were promised! We want to be able to trust people, yes even a used car salesman. We want to not be continually lied to! But most of all, we don’t want this to happen to anyone else by this dealership. This is bad business. More
