Customer facts are severely distorted . Customer vehicle was serviced by us in accordance to state regulations . Customer agreed on a price and did not state any issues with the car before taking delivery. Customer stated that he was told it was done at a Mercedes dealership if car fax has it being serviced there then it was . We Did all our service work that was required for us to do . Customer sent email asking for us to complete repairs that were not agreed to . Customer will not furnish any paperwork stating we were doing anything else to the vehicle . We have filed a complaint and dealer rater has agreed to remove negative comments for there site .

Problems arose with the vehicle after the vehicle was driven off the lot. Not all problems are visible from the outside. I fixed some of the problems myself like the screw in the tire as I know JD is not responsible for something like that. The issue was that the car was supposedly serviced by Mercedes (thats what I was told), not all services show on the CarFax and sometimes they can even be delayed in reporting. I believed the dealer when they said the car was serviced by the dealership and honestly if it was or wasn't serviced by the Mercedes dealer there still shouldn't be any issues in 8 days of ownership. It was not. Dealership did not furnish any paperwork saying the car wouldn't be fixed, Dealership did not complete a proper safety inspection as all that was sent was an Excel spread sheet with some numbers of brake readings and tire tread depth readings. This dealership is nothing but shady. They then tried to tell me that the car was purchased "AS IS" but as we know cars in NJ cannot be sold like that under the NJ Consumer Affairs Lemon Law (see link below). Having worked in dealerships for over 10 years I promise this is a place to be avoided. This is all over something that the dealer could have easily fixed rear brakes and the recommended Mercedes Service for 30K miles cost less than $1000. It may sound silly but remember if they were willing to cut corners here it could be your next car where they cut the corners. The client came to my service department for the first time with their 2013 Touareg stating the check engine light was on. My technician diagnosed a faulty oxygen sensor. We found the vehicle had a non-Volkswagen O2 sensor in it. We told the client the sensor would need to be replaced with a Volkswagen O2 sensor to start. The client decided to take the car somewhere else to have the sensor installed. After replacing the sensor the check engine light was still on. The client brought the Touareg back to my service department. When I explained to the client they would be responsible for the diagnostic fee, the client begin calling me and my staff liars. I tried to explain that someone else performed the repairs that we recommended and we cannot be held responsible for someone else's work. We will now need to check that repair facility's work and continue with diagnosing the vehicle. At no point during my entire correspondence was over the phone was I rude or hostile, I did ask when will the vehicle be picked up after being called a liar multiple times.
