Jack Hanania Buick GMC is a proud member of the Hanania Automotive Group. A Jacksonville, Florida native, Jack Hanania attended Wolfson High School and Jacksonville College before beginning his automotive career as a salesman in 1983. By the following year, Jack had quickly advanced to become one of the youngest managers in the business at age 25.
After working in the automotive industry for 18 years, Jack purchased his first dealership and founded Hanania Automotive Group. Today, Hanania Automotive Group is a leader in Northeast Florida auto sales and has grown to include a collision center and seventeen brand franchises. Each dealership offers new and used models as well as vehicle maintenance services.
The Hanania Automotive Group has also been listed as the Jacksonville Business Journals’ Number 1 Volume Dealer in North Florida for three consecutive years. With continued growth in sight, the auto group ventured out of the Jacksonville market, opening dealerships in Estero, Florida; Miami, Florida, Chattanooga, Tennessee; Birmingham, Alabama and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Jack and his wife Debbie have two sons, Jack Jr. and Mark. The Hanania family are all active members in the local community. Jack is a member of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce and the Jacksonville Civic Council, where he advises the mayor on various city matters. Jack was a previous board member of the YMCA and currently serves as an executive board member of the Within Reach Foundation and supports local and national charities, including the Mayo Clinic, Wolfson Children's Hospital, K9s for Warriors, American Cancer Society, Cystic Fibrosis, Dreams Come True, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, United Service Organization, Naval Air Station Jacksonville, Blue Angels, Catholic Charities, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Nemours Children's Hospital, Concert on the Green, and River Garden just to name a few. Jack has also helped raise over 10 million dollars for the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
In continuing to preserve the heritage and history of Jacksonville, Jack purchased the Dyal-Up Church in 2017 and Title & Trust Company of Florida Building in 2020.
Hanania is the official Automotive Partner of the Jacksonville Jaguars. As the Jaguars celebrated their 25-year anniversary and the NFL celebrated their 100-year anniversary during the Jaguars v. Saints game in October 2019, Jack served as Honorary Captain and was recognized alongside the first player to be drafted by the Jaguars. I stumbled upon the GMC terrain, and made a quick stop in to take it for a test drive. I was immediately sold, not by the car, but how kind and smooth the entire experience was. It was very easy and simple doing business here - it left an impression on us! This week, my daughter had been looking for a truck, specifically a Ford. Even though this is a GMC / Chevy dealership, I told her to give them a call, just because it was so awesome doing business there before. Surprisingly, they had just what she was looking for at a great price! Eli let us take the truck for a test drive. He ended up walking us thru the entire sales process, and made it such a pleasurable and awesome time for my daughter (this was her first purchase of a car ever!). He was never pushy, was always accommodating, and made everything as simple as possible. Great guy - I'm looking forward to working with him in the future! Pam in finance was a DOLL. What a kind lady! We had a little bump in the road that freaked my daughter out, but she took care of it and immediately solved the problem! Such a great lady, loved working with her! Overall, I would always bring my business here (and it's a 40 minute drive for me!). Love this place! More

Didn't do what I requested & questioned my request for servi I went to Wilson to have a slow leaking tire fixed. The write up person told me he could take care of it. I had an appointment with their tire "specia I went to Wilson to have a slow leaking tire fixed. The write up person told me he could take care of it. I had an appointment with their tire "specialist", but he didn't ask. He drove away with the vehicle & returned in 15 minutes. All was fine, he visually didn't find a nail in any tire. He did inflate all four to the correct level. I tried to convince him that there was a slow leak & the tire had to be filled every three days. He claimed all tires lose air & there was no leak. I found the leak that weekend & marked it so I could show him. When I returned to the dealer he wouldn't deal with me & went to his supervisor. I showed the supervisor the leak & explained my frustration at not having it fixed the first time. The supervisor said the leak was too close to the sidewall & claimed it couldn't be fixed. HE DIDN'T EVEN MEASURE THE DISTANCE. I proceeded to TIRES PLUS & showed them the leak. TIRES PLUS also explained that the leak was close to the sidewall & would need to verify if they could fix it. TIRES PLUS did fix the leak. What really ticked me off was that the write guy didn't have a qualified person check for a leak & I had to return a second time & was basically refused service. GOOD BYE WILSON BUICK. More

Service dept. said i needed fuel injectors cleaned{which i also declined} i just ran lucas fuel treatment thru truck. Beware of these guys, especially if you are from out of state. Can't wait to pen a letter to the St. Augustine Record about my experience... More

Dissapointed WE bought a new Encore from these folks about one year ago. For a period of time everything was great, until the suspension noise started. WE have had the car in three times already trying to eliminate this suspension noise. Dealer suggested "Trade Assist" for us to get out of this vehicle, but it approved fruitless. Nice people, bad experience. WE can't recommend the Dealer nor the Brand (Buick). More
