Easy to schedule an appointment with their service, work completed timely, and priced reasonably. If last minute appointment is not available, I prefer to wait instead of looking elsewhere. completed timely, and priced reasonably. After my 2019 Silverado broke down during a family camping trip in xx Augustine, FL, I traded in my 2019 Silverado for a new 2026 Silverado from Jack Hanania Chevrolet. Jesus Franco was our salespers camping trip in xx Augustine, FL, I traded in my 2019 Silverado for a new 2026 Silverado from Jack Hanania Chevrolet. Jesus Franco was our salesperson. I clearly explained I needed a truck similar to my truck, which needed a tow package equipped to tow my 9,000-lb camper back home to RI as we were leaving the next day. The transaction for the most part was smooth and without issue. Unfortunately, I learned the hard way at 3am the following morning that we were sold a truck without an integrated trailer brake controller. Apparently an "accessory" despite buying the towing package. This option was never mentioned once during any part of the transaction nor was it offered. Since it was a standard feature in my previous truck, I didn't think to ask. We drove a terrifying 750-mile drive through Virginia's mountains without a trailer brake. It took us as additional 3 hours to get to our destination because of this. I feared for the safety of my family during the entirety of this trip. I felt we were unnecessarily placed in a very unsafe situation. Collin, the sales manager contacted us and suggested using a temporary Bluetooth controller made by the company Curt. He even made arrangements for us to pick it up at a nearby auto store and offered to pay for it. Collin was helpful and sympathetic. Unfortunately that device later failed as it migrated out of place during our drive in the mountains, a design flaw by the company and a dangerous situation to be in if you are relying on it to work. I had to duct tape the device to my trailer brake plug to prevent this from happening again, which it unfortunately did. A makeshift, and unreliable fix. The Curt device was a good temporary measure, but it was unreliable and an awful long-term fix. Despite contacting multiple members of leadership there at the dealership, including Marcin Cybulak (General Manager), Dan Chappell (General Sales Manager), Collin Larocco (Sales Managaer), and Jesus Franco (Sales), no one has reached out or responded to me other than an automated message from "Amy". I am extremely disappointed by the lack of sales knowledge in this transaction, lack of communication, lack of concern for my family's safety, as well as a lack/failure to respond to my experience. We camp a lot and the trailer brake is a vital necessity. I am fearful of my future trips using this truck and this trailer brake as both are now unreliable and unsafe. I hope the dealership will try make this right and hope this becomes a learning lesson to the sales team as well informative to future consumers. More
