Guillermo, our salesperson, was decent. Unfortunately, I can’t say the same for the people handling the negotiation. The pricing experience was infuriating. They advertised the car at one price, then started negotiations substantially above it. Their number was so inflated that I could have bought a current-year new car for close to what they were asking for the used one I was trying to buy. After a ridiculous amount of back-and-forth, I ultimately bought it for less than the advertised price—which only confirmed how out of line their starting number was. It felt less like negotiating in good faith and more like seeing how much they could get me to overpay. Know the market before you walk in and be prepared for the pricing games. More
