The service department is not trustworthy. I purchased my 2020 jaguar F pace S last year used. It has two main reoccurring issues that will pop up intermittently. The start/stop function will cause the car to power down in traffic presenting a serious safety hazard. While the car was in sport mode plus dynamic mode it would lock up in second gear causing me to have to pull the car over in traffic and restart it. Again another serious safety hazard. I’ve taken the car in two times to be serviced and both times they have performed vehicle updates and did test drives only to inform me that they couldn’t replicate the issue, but had fixed it. After leaving the dealership both issues were still problematic. I tried to call the manager, but he forwarded my call to a service rep. I advised the service rep that I had brought my car in two times having to catch Uber rides home; being without a car for six total days while incurring $80 in travel cost; and my vehicle was still having the same issues. I also mentioned that this was a safety hazard as it would happen in rush-hour traffic and I was almost rear ended when my car suddenly powered down. Avery advised me that there was nothing they could do unless they could replicate the issue but mentioned that if I was able to record it they could provide additional assistance. Keep in mind it will be difficult for me to record an event like this, if I’m in traffic attempting to move the car for it to not impede other drivers. No-win situation. This was their solution for their customer. I then reached out to the manufacturer, who then advised me that the dealership should have raised my ticket to high priority in order to address the issue more effectively but obviously failed to do so. Since then the manufacturer has sent me an update, and I’m currently driving the car to see if the update has fixed the problem. I wouldn’t advise anyone to purchase a car from here or to use the service department as they appear to be a shady and don’t have the integrity to be honest and transparent with customers in providing great trustworthy service. The service advisor (Byron Jackson), was very professional, and kept us informed. He was able to get our vehicle repaired and back to us within 48 hours. The service and result of my purchasing experience left me really unhappy. Prior to hiring an inspector to assess the automobile, I was quite pleased and happy. According to the inspector's report, which was made public, the engine was changed out for a junk yard engine. Despite my dissatisfaction with the situation, the car was returned. Since Hennessy Jaguar is a reputable brand, there ought to have been an inspection from their business before selling a car with inaccurate mileage and a modified engine. Before buying this automobile, this information was not given. The salesman should be ashamed of himself for using religious passages to support his lemon-selling strategy. More
