DISSAPOINTED ON THE RANGE ROVER SERVICE AND CAR AS WELL I ALMOST GOT KILLED IN A CAR ACCIDENT BECAUSE THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS STOPED WORKING IN THE EXTREME HEAVY RAINY WEATHER. I WENT TO RANGE ROVER HINSDALE I ALMOST GOT KILLED IN A CAR ACCIDENT BECAUSE THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS STOPED WORKING IN THE EXTREME HEAVY RAINY WEATHER. I WENT TO RANGE ROVER HINSDALE , IL AND THEY WOULD CARE LESS. THEY SAID COME AFTER ONE WEEK AND A HALF AND GO RENT A CAR OUT OF YOUR PACKET AT ENTERPRISE. WHEN YOU BUY A CAR THEY WILL TELL YOU THAT IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG WITH YOUR CAR THEY WILL GIVE YOU A LOANER . WELL, THAT'S A COMPLETE LIE. WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE !!!!!! More
High-pressure sales tactics, non-transparency, condescension I started shopping for a new car at the end of 2018, as it became clear that my 2011 Mercedes-Benz was becoming more than I was willing to handle. Jag I started shopping for a new car at the end of 2018, as it became clear that my 2011 Mercedes-Benz was becoming more than I was willing to handle. Jaguar Land Rover's product offerings looked appealing and I know that their leasing programs are typically the most competitive in the luxury segment. I had a good initial experience communicating with Eric Htun via email. When we met, he referred to me by the incorrect name--something he would do again the next time I visited with him in May 2019. It's no big deal, but rather odd. I had decided by May that the Jaguar F-Pace S was the model from JLR that I was most interested in. I had received a great proposal from Imperial Jaguar Lake Bluff, where I had never even been before, via the internet that I was looking to see if Eric would be able to match or come close to having met with him before. Eric and Bill Jacobs' Jaguar Land Rover Hinsdale never did present me with a proposal. They also refused to guarantee me a trade-in value without me bringing in my vehicle. All I had asked them to do was to match Carmax's active offer along with matching offers from Imperial Jaguar and a couple of other local dealerships. (The vast majority of dealerships are willing to match each other. They also know what they are willing to offer without seeing the vehicle. Don't fall for this trick to force you to come to the dealership.) The Mercedes had a leaky front strut that made the ride a bit rough, and I wasn't willing to put unnecessary miles on it while I was looking to trade it. In person and over-the-phone they engage in high-pressure sales tactics, unwilling to provide a lease proposal without a commitment to do business with them. That is obviously ludicrous. I need to surrender my ability to get other offers in order for you to give me one? I don't think so. In the end, neither Eric nor his colleague, Darren Heath, provided me with any kind of proposal whatsoever despite a promise. Someone in the showroom, presumably the finance manager, was brought forward to speak to me and told me not to worry about the money factor and sales price, but to worry about the monthly payment. I was not born yesterday, I know the moving pieces of a lease deal, and presenting a monthly payment figure/budget is recipe for the dealer to squeeze as much out of you as they possibly can. I am not going to beg a dealership to do business with me. These are $70k +/- cars. Their behavior let me know that they are not interested in getting me the best deal possible. They're interested in selling cars through opaque deals. Eric was excellent at showing me the Jaguar Land Rover product offerings, but the deal side was a debacle. Lack of transparency, unwillingness to compete, and high-pressure sales tactics leave me with no choice but to leave them with a 1-star review. Last week, I closed on a deal to lease a 2019 Audi Q8 Premium Plus, an $83k vehicle. The Audi dealer, while far from perfect, always treated me like a serious buyer, and we came to an agreement that worked for both parties. If you are set on Jaguar, I recommend you take a look at Imperial. Their offer was very transparent and very competitive. Hinsdale has no interest in dealing with well-informed consumers. More

Zero Integrity I recently purchased a certified 2016 XF and had it shipped to Colorado. I only had the car a month or so when the left rear tire blew out ($300). I recently purchased a certified 2016 XF and had it shipped to Colorado. I only had the car a month or so when the left rear tire blew out ($300). It was identified as a cracked RIM. When I went to have it repaired the 3rd party repair shop said the wheel was bent in 2 places and the crack was previously welded to the point it has compromised the integrity of the wheel and he cannot fix it because he cannot stand by it. When I let Peter Murray from the dealership know this he said he would look into this. After a few calls back and forth including a call from the GM of my local Colorado Jaguar dealership agreeing they sold me a car with a bent wheel, Peter told me his GM, Pat McGowan believes, I damaged the wheel and he would not stand by the certification. I asked him to have Pat please call me. A week has gone by and no one has called. I do not recommend this dealership. As a side note the Flatirons Jaguar dealership in Broomfield, CO agreed to cover the cost of the new wheel I purchased ($1k) even though I did not buy the car from them. More
Withholds pertinent information and misleads Sitting down with Donnie to buy the car, he withheld pertinent information. Asked if there were any Dealer or MFG incentives, and he said "no". Then Sitting down with Donnie to buy the car, he withheld pertinent information. Asked if there were any Dealer or MFG incentives, and he said "no". Then in his office at time of final sales paperwork, I simply looked up on the Bill Jacobs Land Rover website that there was an active $1,000 rebate for financing a vehicle. Truly disappointed that I had to search for this on my own rather Mr. Justiss saying so. Also, he told me that there was a penalty to payoff the vehicle after financing if I tried to payoff earlier than the 3rd payment. I called the loan company, and this is NOT true. Again, another disappointment from Mr. Donnie Justiss. More

I saw that Bill Jacobs LandRover had the same vehicle (for more money) but went in anyway. Bottom line the salesperson (Brendon), the sales manager (Sam) and the gm (Jeremy) all worked with me on price. Yes.. I paid a little more but I got A LOT MORE. The whole process was easy and fun. These guys are the REAL DEAL. They say what they mean and mean what they say, don"t hesitate to give them a call. More
