Dear beckaroo1, Thank you again for taking the time to post a review for us. We sincerely appreciate your feedback and your comments only help us to improve. Once we received your comments we promptly reviewed your service file in detail and have found the following: You did purchase a new Jaguar XF on April 30, 2011. Upon your first visit regarding concerns over vibration in the steering wheel at 50 miles per hour, we installed a new set of four Continental tires. The vibration was corrected. On your second visit, a few weeks later, you felt that this was not the case, at which time you requested all four tires be replaced with new Michelin brand tires. This was done at no charge. You later returned and felt the new Michelin tires were extremely noisy, did not fix the vibration either, and you requested new OEM Continental tires be installed on your vehicle, which Crown provided once again at no cost to you. During this period as you can see we did not spare any expense in an effort to satisfy your concern. Approximately four weeks ago on a Saturday you visited with our Jaguar Sales Manager for nearly four hours. At that time he drove your vehicle for an extensive period of time, reached 50 plus miles per hour, and could not feel the vibration. You then drove a pre-owned XF with brand new tires. Once again, you felt a vibration in the steering wheel however the vibration could not be duplicated when our Sales Manager drove this same vehicle. We conveyed your concern that the steering wheel vibrates when you remove your hands from the steering wheel at approximately 50 miles per hour to our Jaguar Factory Field Service Engineer. He flew out to our store and test drove your vehicle himself and was not only unable to duplicate the issues you report but test drove 3 other like vehicles and found all vehicles drove identically. The Factory Engineer concluded that all vehicles driven were operating as designed without a vibration. This is detailed on the report you received from us on June 22, 2011. In response to your complaints, Crown Jaguar installed three different sets of tires, balances, and alignments at no charge. When that was not satisfactory we contacted the Jaguar Field Service Engineer. He was sent here to inspect and drive your car. He too could not duplicate your vibration problem. Despite the fact that we could not duplicate the vibration complaint we did provide you with every benefit of the doubt. I hope this provides some clarification and perspective on this situation.
