I bought a defender 130 approximately 3 weeks ago and I traded it in to a chevy dealer for a silverado for many personal reasons. The purchase was a mistake on my part but to pay $91,000. for a car, you be traded it in to a chevy dealer for a silverado for many personal reasons. The purchase was a mistake on my part but to pay $91,000. for a car, you better love it. Once I took ownership, I quickly realized it wasn't going to work for what I needed. My bad, but the customer service from this dealership ended with the purchase. Only after speaking with the GM , I was told they were going to help me transition to a different car. Well, what happened was nothing, just the typical round around and shifting of people to talk to. And then of course no one would return my calls. All after I was told they were working on a solution. A car with that kind of price tag should come with a certain amount of customer support but that did not happen. I had a tech guy come to my house and go over the cars systems but unfortunately he couldn't program it correctly because my maps weren't initially loaded which I guess is supposed to happen when you buy the car. I never received the 2nd key because that to required me to come back to dealership and sit for an hour plus to have that completed. To make matters worse I received a recall notification on the car as I was driving to the chevy dealer! Of course I lost money on my trade ($20,000 to be exact) its criminal how much theses cars are over inflated, but at that point, I really didn't care. I just knew that not having to deal with this dealership would be worth the peace of mind. Lesson learned! Don't buy a Land Rover! More
