I purchased a certified pre owned 2020 Ford Escape on Monday May 11th. After driving the vehicle home it began making a squealing noise. I took the vehicle in that Thursday to have a crack in the windshi Monday May 11th. After driving the vehicle home it began making a squealing noise. I took the vehicle in that Thursday to have a crack in the windshield fixed I found during the test drive. I asked them to check the engine to see what the squealing noise was. They kept the car for 7 days and determined the Turbo Charger had to be replaced. During the time they had the vehicle I never got updates unless I called and even then everything was very vague. On May 20th they called and said the vehicle was ready. My son picked it up and by the time he got home (about 3 miles) the engine began squealing again. So after a week and a half, I’ve had the vehicle in my possession less than 2.5 days and haven’t driven the vehicle 10 miles. Jarret Gordon ford is totally unreliable and has a terrible service department. My son was cleaning the inside of the car and found a blood stained napkin and some cotton swabs in the back seat pocket. Im not sure if they were there when we bought the car or if they were put there in the service department. Either way, that’s completely unacceptable. I can’t understand how a vehicle is advertised as having a 138 point inspection, yet the turbo was burned out and bloody napkins were in the seat pocket. As a direct result of my experience I won’t be buying anything from Jarrett Gordon or the Ford Motor Company. The fact Ford allows a dealership to operate in this manner and represent their products is deeply concerning. I highly recommend a more reliable dealership. After picking the car up, it began making a squealing noise again. This time it was determined the water pump pulley assembly was bad. After 6 day, I went to pick up the car and when I started it, the engine was idling rough and stalled. I went back in and they determined it was some kind of valve. All of this after buying a Certified Pre Owned Ford. More

Unfortunately, my overall experience has been overwhelmingly negative. Over the years, I have dealt with damaged vehicles after service appointments, mismatched and inconsistent information from employees, and ongoing communication issues. Very few encounters at this dealership have occurred without some type of problem or frustration. One of the most concerning experiences happened after leaving the dealership when an employee, apparently on their way to fuel up a new vehicle, attempted to run me off the road because I was driving the speed limit and they were in a hurry. It was reckless, dangerous, and completely unprofessional behavior from someone representing the dealership. I continued giving this dealership chances because of convenience and loyalty as a long-term customer, but after years of repeated issues, I can no longer recommend Jarrett Gordon Ford. Customers deserve transparency, professionalism, accountability, and respect — especially those who have remained loyal for years. More
