Friendly and Effective Service I scheduled an oil change and was greeted by Shawn in Service. He was incredibly friendly and fast-paced. The whole service was simple and smooth. While I waited I got to relax in the "waiting room" which provides to-order sandwiches, snacks, drinks, and smoothies. The oil change was performed in a timely manner. They made the experience very relaxed and comfortable. They were both easy to talk and joke with and we felt as if we had known them from long before. It takes great people the make any company successful and with people such as as Kim and Amir I would have to believe Jay Wolfe is and will continue to be very successful. Without transportation, I took an Uber to the dealership and needed to buy a car that day so I could check out neighborhoods. They made the process stress-free and really accommodated my needs. 2017 Accord - finally???? This is the 4th try at isolating a left front wheel issue with a 2017 Accord we leased. It took several tries and I am hoping they were able to fix th This is the 4th try at isolating a left front wheel issue with a 2017 Accord we leased. It took several tries and I am hoping they were able to fix the problem. So far, so good. Jay Wolfe normally is able to isolate problems much more quickly than they did with this car which is why I am wondering if the mechanics were thinking outside the box and exploring all possibilities. Appears to have been a wheel bearing issue. Would have been best if this could have been isolated on the 1st of 4 visits. Wasn't too happy with the third visit mainly because the service tech needed to spend more time listening and less time talking. I'm not sure the mechanics explored all possibilities focusing only on the brakes, when it most likely could be a wheel bearing problem; a key indicator it wasn't the brakes is that the noise was constant even when the brakes were applied.. There's still a whistling noise when we slow down and speed up, so I'm not certain that was looked into. It was heard by the service tech on the third visit and I told the service tech about it on the 4th visit. The noise is not loud, but similar to the sound you hear when a diesel vehicle is speeding up/slowing down. . As always the staff is very friendly and professional. They did a good job of getting the car done and contacting us when it was ready for pick-up. If Jay Wolfe were not able to fix it this last time, then I was going to take it to another Honda dealer. Honda needs to address this issue with their supplier, the problem developed with only 3k miles on the car. These types of issues can affect brand loyalty; this is the second Honda we've had where a wheel bearing went out prematurely. . I learned that loaner vehicles were available, but we were never offered that as an option during our visits. It's not that important, however I think they should have offered. More
