Buying a car from Griffin I would have to say this was a great experience. No high pressure sales. A salesman with a lot of experience selling cars. He did not try any switch or bait technique, he just worked with us. As the other lot said, he was a consultant not a salesman. He still looked out for the needs of his company but he also knew that the customer must not feel pressured or in our day and age that can be death mark (this was our third lot and had done some internet searching so walking out was a real possibility). We had already done our homework at another lot and were looking at features when we had time. This is why we ended up buying a 2018 instead of a 2019 (no cruise control, a dealer breaker for us). The finance person had been there 19 years and knew the business inside out. Nice person, again no high pressure sales. We did take a couple of his suggestions. The person selling accessories again no high pressure sales. We also had someone go over all the features of the car. The price we bought the new 2018 with a warranty was about the same for a 2017 without a warranty. . More

Unhappy car shopper I have been going to Jeff belzers for 9 years. Mainly just for oil changes. In the past, I’ve always been very satisfied until recently. The last seve I have been going to Jeff belzers for 9 years. Mainly just for oil changes. In the past, I’ve always been very satisfied until recently. The last several times I’ve gone for oil changes, I’ve been told it was an hour and a half wait for the “express lube.” That hardly count as “express.” So, I’ve just moved on to get oil changes somewhere else. Recently, i decided to give the sales department a chance. I knew what I wanted, and knew what I wanted to pay. Considering several of my friends have bought the same vehicles. So I called the sales department. A salesperson named Mary jo answered my call. I said i would make it easy for her, i want a Ram crew cab, a lease payment under $300, and I didn’t want to put any money down. Fairly simple I think. Her response, “not gonna happen.” I politely said thank you and hung up the phone. I then called Brookdale dodge, gave them the same instructions on my wants and needs. And guess what Mary jo, it happened. I’m now the proud owner of a 2019 Dodge Ram long horn. With a payment of $290/ mo. And the only time I took my wallet out, was for my drivers license number. You could have at least tried to pretend to crunch numbers for me. Or go talk to your sales manager. But the simple response of “not gonna happen,” is unacceptable in my opinion, and shouldn’t be acceptable at an dealership. Jeff belzers has lost me as a customer in every department now. More
